Beomgyu's story - I saw it on twitter but it's kinda like a homophobic father who wants his son to be normal because Beomgyu is wearing a skirt and long hair with highlights, cause you know ... we associate that with like being flamboyant or gay, and he's being yelled at and abused in front of his fans or friends, whoever is in the live watching him.

This song is just THE song for me and I seriously love all of their songs. Ever since the album preview I knew this was gonna be my favourite and when I heard the whole song it just broke me in the most beautiful way possible, Taehyun's "Crying crying crying" I feel it in my bones. The way they showed the struggles that majority of youth and even adults face these days but they dont get shown or are talked about and how money is the goal for every one. The arch of Beomgyu wanting to follow his dream of doing music and live streaming it but his father not acknowledging it and shaming him for it is so real and really broke my heart. Them escaping in the end and driving off the metaphorical cliff, this was seriously perfect. A masterpiece.

Thank you, first of all, for your effort to edit and upload this vid 😭 Every single bar and every single line in this song hits me hard, but Yeonjun's fierce rap... yo that completely tore down my heart. That sudden change of the beat combined with YJ's raspy voice added so much emotion to this already emotional song. As for the storyline, I think the quote from the LOVESONG MV also speaks a lot about this song as well. It went: "Adolescence is like a universal 'hole' in everyone's life at some point. Big or small, we go through that period and experience hunger of soul and an empty hole. To some boys, however, those holes invade their lives too often, in a complicated form." If LOVESONG was focusing on that image of 'empty hole', this one is more like depicting the life itself that bears that hole and slowly being sunk in it. And comparing LOVESONG MV to this one, if LOVESONG was full of dreamy, fantastic imagery like goldfish in the sky and car burning down, LOSER LOVER has more definite stories attached to each character and is more realistic -- except the last scene. So I think the last scene is the bridge b/w LOSER LOVER and LOVESONG where you are so done with the reality that you escape(or lock yourself) into your dream. The way that scene turns into a colorful painting makes it even seem like they're going way back to their Dream Chapter era, to their lost 'childhood'. That's why the scene where they're all in the car, determined to escape from reality, is extra devastating bc they rather look glad and relieved that they're done with the pain and struggle and going back(?) to when they were all happy together...

My theory: what if loser=lover is the prequel and they all died after falling off of the cliff except yeonjun. So in 0x1=lovesong he can’t cope with it and acts like they are all still alive. It makes sense why he had a hospital wristband in the mv too, he had depression and started hallucinating.

It has been about 2.5 days now since the MV dropped and I am still not ok. This song is on repeat in my head non stop (especially the crying/love you prechorus part) and saying that I love, love, love, love this song is not expressing my feelings for it nearly enough. The song, their voices, the MV, the styling, the choreo, their stage presence, all results in an emotional crescendo for me, even more than 0x1, did which I did not think was possible. For me the cliff scene was never sad, because the music turned a bit like a music box/magical, which was enhanced by the visual effects. As you say, the purple sky (blue hour, when they were happy together and escaping reality) is there, although the go from purple to blue which I think is going to reality. I believe that The Chaos Chapter is the moment when they cannot run away from reality anymore, but somehow I always sense a bit of hope in their music and lyrics. About their little storylines in the MV I see a few things differently from you. For me Beomgyu’s storyline represents the online contact with MOA that was necessary the past 1.5 years, and so we do not see his girl in the MV, but she is there. And Kai snaps when his boss is scolding (?) the other employee, defends her and runs away with her. My biggest fear is that now the chaos chapter is (probably) concluded we will not get this rock/punk/emo music for a while as TXT are of course kings of diversity, which is one of the reasons why I became MOA. Lastly I just wanted to say that your tweet about moderating yourself so as not to offend people with your reactions was breaking my hart. Please be yourself. If you want to scream, scream. If you want to cry, cry. If you want to react cool and collected, be cool and collected. Just stay true to yourself. Not everyone is going to like you and that is okay. Just “clean as you go”. Collect and cherish the good comments, check if the thrash has any usable parts in it for personal growth and just chuck the rest out with as minimal energy as possible.
