He is a huge star in Australia 🇦🇺 don’t think he wants to go to the US as doesn’t want to leave Australia (don’t blame him, life in Australia is pretty good 😊) He won Australian idol in 2003, his song battle scars with Lupe fiasco was released in the US. It’s a great song and like most of Guys songs is about people suffering. Also there is a clip on YT with the school kids surprising Guy who thinks he is at movies with wife, kids and other family members..

I'm Standing With You was written for his cousin who was having a rough time of it, and the message resonates - all of us who have tried to reach someone who has lost all hope knows the powerlessness, the inability to find the right words. If you wish to explore more of Guy's huge body of work, I'd suggest Battle Scars or Before I Go. Both showcase his range and vocal ability.

I really think this is one of Guy's best songs. As yourself, this hits me every time I watch it, and i think i have seen it more then any other one of his songs. And to see children at such a young age be moved to tears is very moving.

Guy is an amazing artist and person! He did a few concerts in a city near me, and they were barely advertised, he was playing with his new album, wanting to see how the crowd reacted I guess. (Some of the songs changed a lot between then and the album) My younger sister had just turned 21 and she has some health stuff so she can’t always go out, but thanks to an amazing venue who set up a private area we were able to see this show with maybe 150 people or less. It was a super low key intimate performance which was amazing and someone on the sound crew heard it was her birthday and let Guy know and he sang happy birthday and dedicated a song to her. I could barely afford to take her and he made it such a special birthday. He is absolutely the opposite of the whole ‘you shouldn’t meet your hero’s’ thing.

Oh God bless your beautiful tears. When asked by one of their teachers what Standing With You was about....most of the students thought it meant that Guy was always going to be their friend. Yes even a child knows the importance of someone being there for them. God bless Guy and his big beautiful heart. Guy not only donated instruments & tutered their choir but helped do a doco on the school. ps For a short time before winning Aus Idol he worked in local schools as a music/voice coach. and Yes I'm a huge fan lol

If you really want to increase your subscribers you should react to John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes Two huge legends in Australia John is known as the voice..you should start with him singing “help” with the Melbourne symphony orchestra it’s amazing With Jimmy you should react to him singing “a change is gonna come” it will blow your mind. Jimmy is not only a great solo artist but he is also lead singer of a band called Cold Chisel, who are known as the best band in Australia even ahead of AC/DC and INXS. If you react to Cold Chisel I would react to them singing “wild thing” first ❤
