Very nice man ! it goes great with that BZ I recently bought this kit, so now i have to buy some hop ups from like RC Mart before i start building it 😄
@Triggered-RC6 ай бұрын
Nice. Not many hopups needed. Just ball bearings really and maybe a hotter motor.
@aviano726 ай бұрын
@@Triggered-RC oohh, i have plans for several hop ups 😉

Thanks for the video I enjoyed watching your car. I recently bought a Tamiya Neo Fighter, the only changes I made were the ball bearings and alunimun shocks. Its truely amazing how much of a beating my car has taken and it has so far has not broke. Its alot of fun. I'm tempted to buy a Manta ray next. What again where the name of the wheels and tire you used, I like the way the wheels look on your car. Thanks !

Good idea! Those wheels and tires are what came on my Kyosho Optima Mid. I run the original Optima tires on that rig.

That's a nice looking Manta Ray, what is the translucent blue paint you used on the window? Tamiya PS-39?

@@ZIppy48 yes, PS39

@@ZIppy48 Yes, but I notice I also have a can of PS38, which is a darker blue. However, I do think it was the PS39. I used the PS38 on my Losi22T. I should really write this stuff down when I build 😂

@@Triggered-RC Thank's again for the info, your Manta Ray looks so much better than the boxart version 🔥

It would be awesome to see that buggy on the track. Do you go to tracks?
@Triggered-RC6 ай бұрын
There are a couple tracks in Shanghai. Only a couple. I always plan to go check them out, but never seem to find the time. I actually have a dozen rigs I wanna see on a track. So, I’ll have to go. Maybe in August:

@@Triggered-RC that would be a ton of fun to bring all the RC’s that you’ve been wanting to run around the track and getting some killer content while having a blast 💥… sounds awesome

Nice.. I have a tamiya dt02 buggy. And i like it. Do you use blue lock-tight on your wheel nuts? 😊 I had the manta ray, the original one. My manta ray, had the speed controller that use a servo. I am mad at my self, because i gave the car away for many years ago.
@Triggered-RC5 ай бұрын
@@Mega_Trond I don’t usually use lock tight on wheel nuts.
Have driven them. Never got around to buying them.
@Triggered-RC6 ай бұрын
Yeah, they run a lot closer to the ground, like the Durga. Probably better for racing, but who races Tamiya these days? What really impressed me was 1) how well it handled, and 2) that I didn’t break it! Lol

@Triggered-RC There's a lot of races all over the world that races Tamiyas. Look at recently tamico off road cup Besides japan they raise them all the time. And don't forget they just came out with a t r f 421 Which could Possibly keep its own against other on road cars.
@bradkalman23536 ай бұрын
@Triggered-RC I think you. Should get no top forces.They are different than manta ray.
