You can try Catharsis if you like to engaging enemy at longer range. Less running around collecting buff.

I use a full on armor build. Striker chest, bag pack, gloves knee pads, uzina getica holster and catharsis mask. All are full armor. Still the St elmos shreds enemies like butter at 2M armor. My st elmos is at 18 expertise level.

Thanks for the tip. I also use primarly St. Elmos. I have 1020 BPS on it. I hope switching to Chatarsis doesn´t drop the BPS. People here asking where to get St.Elmos. It drops almost everywhere. I have got about 30 Elmos, 30 Chameleons, Mantis, etc... but NO Capasitor. It doesn´t drop for me not in Summit after completing challenges in any level or Countdown. And, yes, i have targeted loot on AR and i need one to try on some builds. Ourorboros i can forget. I will never get it unless i buy one and that is not going to happen, i´m not desperate.😂

You will lose some DPS, but it is not in a sense that you won't be able to kill enemies at all.

@@bumpdurp2778 Thanks for reply. As i wrote in previous comment, the Capacitor did not drop for me after doing the 5 challenges in Summit. I tried on different difficulty levels, from normal to heroic. I have tried to farm it in Countdown with targeted loot on AR, but no luck. It does not matter anymore. I have switched to The First Decsendant-game.

Look at that damage drop off. Yes St Elmo can beam from across the map but you're doing about 500k damage at long range. Probably around 1.1 million at close range. This is why I like adding 'Optimal Range' mods to my weapons nowadays especially if running striker. I can still do close to max damage from the other side of the map when scoped in. I use Safety Distance SMG with a sniper rifle scope. 1.1 million damage per hit from the other side of the map.

Most player tend to go all CHC and CHD on their weapon mods. I have never tried using sniper rifle scope on SMG/AR. Gonna try it out later. Thanks for the idea!

@@swagostic You won't regret adding optimal range mods to weapons. I can't go without them and stability mod depending on the weapon type. The Kingbreaker turns into a laser beam with a Stability Mod and very much a viable alternative to the best AR's in the game.

I run hearbreak backback, vest, gloves, holster, fenris kneepads and catarsis. Extra mods on catarsis and backpack are incoming health. Im at 135% crit dam, 37%crit ch, 73% incoming health, 1.6m armor. Im almost constantly in extra armor when in combat its insane. And that st elmo melts. So much dps with this setup. Also shield with 6 blue and purple hive with 2 yellow.

@Nerd-Hanashi once heartbreak skill is on I'm hitting 500k-800k per shot. I'm still working on bringing that up. I like the balance though. I am able to solo run all heroics no problem. I haven't tried any legendary yet but once I can get my dps over 800k then it's a wrap.

Really nice build. What percentage do you recommend to have in crit chance? Im always going for 55% or so but i see that you have 46% on this build.. What do you think is best? I also swapped the chest to fenris to get 10% ar damage but then i lose 10% crit chance. Think it gives more damage tho

I think above 40% CHC works fine with striker build and any high RPM weapon. I'll go with fenris for more dps.

On a DPS build you obviously wanna go as close as possible to 60%

I LOVE this build but here is how I run it........ I run the catharsis along with a cseka chest with glass canon........OMG it just destroys enemies especially once the striker stacks kick in........the catharsis really is for me more for survivability.

@@swagostic Throw an incoming repair mod on the mask, I don't have the numbers for how much it changes the healing but it was a noticeable increase (to me at least :D).

You can farm it at Countdown or any AR targetted loot area. It's easier to farm at Countdown with friends helping you out.

how to get max stat mod? i just started challenging farming but its not dropping any higher stat mod/gear for me. and i starting to struggle with my 1shot sniper build since the stat not good enough, need to start farming for some dps striker/hunter build but dont have any good mod/gear for it

You can farm mods at Countdown, make sure to join heroic difficulty one. Getting maxed out stats can take a while since it is all RNG pretty much.

You can get this weapon at the Summit but you have to be at least level 91 to get it set target Loot to AR that’s how I got it last week good luck!!!

This is a pvp gun, put Coyote on and Preservation on a Famas, Shield and Artificier hive. You feel like a tank

I use Artificer + Shield on Hunters Fury build. Main weapon is Dark Winter & secondary is Scorpio. Never tried on striker + coyote yet.

love catharsis but 5 percent of max armor on this particular build isn't giving you much. I have a similar build but run it with coyotes and groupo/obliterate. 1 blue core. I would typically run ceska/obliterate but you really don't need it with the St. Elmo's. Stacks super fast and just melts. Any other gun and I'd use a ceska chest. Run preservation as a secondary weapon talent for trouble. I run shield and turret, just popping the shield when needed but never for any length of time obviously. The turret is tanky as hell and distracts the NPCs while you melt them. Easy money.

Just add incoming health. I have 73% incoming and maaan it makes a huge difference. I'm in extra armor non stop during battle unless I get overwhelmed. At that point I break contact and heal then resume.

blue core a couple of those striker pieces, swap out catharsis for coyote's and you have my build. it slaps. i usually do more damage than the rest of my group combined in heroics.

That is great, a little of blue core is no problem at all. I'm going all red since this build is being used for raids sometimes.

@@swagostic i swapped the chest for a striker chest and tried picarro's with the build tonight. seems to work a little better at the top end when all 200 striker stacks hit. ceska chest with obliterate starts with higher damage but caps lower. i was seeing 1.1 mil hits with it, but 1.3 mil hits with picarro's.

@@TheRedStateBlue yep 1.3m, tried that before. If you are playing solo can easily reach that 200 stacks. I play with coop a lot nowadays, barely reach that 200 stacks with everyone running DPS build.

I've been there. I do recommend to play with co-op. Since most players do drop exotic, higher chances to get exotic that you didn't have it yet.

Catharsis is more PVP , use Coyote for PVE , you literally don't need blue cores for PVE , I use Famas with fast hands , but St.Elmos is fun as well . If you like to use scopes try Perfect Focus chest pc , you melt literally everything in your way .
