I haven’t looked at horizontal mandrakes on the exhibition, but my experience with hammerfall builds tells me that you weren’t looking at its full potential. If I take what I see regularly I think most builds you saw were auger or bigram based, however I’ve seen have hover based builds be broke my agile, being able to rotate on the spot faster than most shotgun build can circle. However you might have a hard time finding one since people usually keep unique, powerful builds off the exhibition, however there is a possibility. Edit: Also nice to see a fellow unorthodox shotgun wedge junkie (although our build and play styles couldn't be any more different.

I feel your pain with the mandrakes .. been struggling with them last cpl days but I'm getting better.. it takes a lot of skill and patience .. make sure to have some type of radar and ask for team protection

Ya I think I'll try a different type of hor-drake. Iv been trying the ones on 4 meatgrinders but I think I'll do the ones on ML200's :p

@@neilybobber694 do bigrams for a quick getaway.. make sure it has an antenna so you can see over everything in order to hit the opposing team at their spawn location.. with this you have to learn the maps well

I think you would love the Median (new light cannon) I already have two and they do 150 damage each taking 5 energy and dont have to use ammo with the projectile speed of auto cannon rounds... I mean its sooo fun.

It's not you, horizontal drake builds can't get out of their own way. Unless you have an actual team to work with you it's almost impossible to have a good battle. That's why I keep using my old school drake build with a harpy cabin. The speed and maneuverability will often get me an MVP where as horizontal builds I'm lucky to live long enough to break a 5oo point match. Just my two pennies.
