REVERSE BULLET HELL, WITH MINING
Kill bugs, upgrade your gear, and delve ever deeper into the lethal caves of Hoxxes. Collect and assemble a devastating array of guns, unleash hell upon wave after wave of alien monsters in fast and frenetic combat, and tunnel your way to collect precious riches from deep within the cave walls. Each mission is unique, using procedural cave generation and enemy waves, just as you've come to know from Deep Rock Galactic.
COMPLETE MISSION OBJECTIVES TO BECOME STRONGER
Delve deep, Miner! Once the Drop Pod releases you into the oppressive darkness, you are on your own. Complete the mission objectives set forth by the Company, and make it back to the Drop Pod in time to try your luck at even more deadly and lucrative encounters. Progress deeper and deeper into the planet while you grow ever stronger, survive all the way to the very end of your assignment, and finally get extracted alongside your hefty sack of loot.

That was a crazy run! I would have probably went for BRT7 to 18 instead of the boomerang, since you had the piercing shots.

I honestly probably like the light weapon builds the most... it just feels too good being a storm of bullets, thredding everything to pieces that get too close.

You had two magnets this run, and they didn't even level you up once. That boomerang is really effective with the magnet overclock, especially when leveled up.

I find it weird that you always go for Hp upgrades but the dreadnaught doesn’t even touch you. Just go for glass cannon builts. Also pay to win artifact is not good if wanting to kite bosses and up levels. Need a little less damage but increased survivability.

Can anyone explain why the two 'reload speed'-upgrades at the end are different modifiers? They read the same to me, given that he has 4 light weapons... Is one additive and one multiplicative or something?

The Legendary 10% one is global reload that applies to all weapons, and the Rare 15% one is specific for light weapons. And yes, they do stack.

@@smashed_penguinWell, that much is obvious. He even points that out himself, but since he only has light weapons the second one is de facto global as well. But he said they are still different modifiers, as in they work differently, doesn't he? Nonetheless, thanks for your reply ^^

Damn ive gotta try this, not high enough level for haz 5, but this should net positively even with three light weapons with sidearm?

I think it is 0.75*1.5=1.125 on all the sidearm weapons, and IF the numbers are additive after all, it would be 0.75+0.5=1.25 So yeah, positive effect.

Do a run to see how fast you can get the coil gun to shoot. Get just reload speed on it and damage, nothing else. I really wanna see that gun shoot like every .5 seconds.

Do you play with keyboard or with a controller? If the latter, which controller do you have? I'm considering getting one for this game specifically, my fingers keep spazzing out after a couple of hours on keyboard.

I play with a relatily cheap Speedlink Controller for the same reason, it works. But I think keyboard is a bit faster to change for opposite directions.

Shouldn't you get 50% more damage? Not 37.5% You're not reducing 75% by half, just 25%. Right?

I was thinking the math is like (1-0.25)*(1+0.25+0.25+0.25) = 1.3125, but maybe the upgrades count towards the same "group" and get combined additively after all. I am not fully sure how the sidearm overclocks interact. edit: this example was for 4x sidearm

@idlecub Yeah, I'm not sure. Obviously the math would work that way if the bonuses are done in that fashion. I assumed that the bonuses would all apply to the base damage number and the penalty would as well. So all like bonuses add together and are then applied to the base damage. Since they usually have diminishing returns. Ahhhhhhhh 🤣🤣🤣 it ends up just being we don't know.
