An easy variant for adding a ton of survivability is swapping touch of flame for Heat Rises and Ember of Searing for Ember of Empyrean. You can offset the damage loss by changing boot mods to solar surges.

I run a very similar build but I use Speakers Sight. Trading slightly lower dmg but wayy more survivability. If you run with a fire team, swap ember of searing with the one that boost melee, class, and grenade recharge when you heal an ally. you can literally spam all of your abilities while keeping the entire fireteam alive. I regularly have the most kills, orbs generated, damage, and points scored on all endgame content.

Constant ignitions, infinite abilities, great survivability and decent boss DPS. I've been outdamaging a lot of team mates with just Dragon's Breath and Song of Flame.

I was able solo flawless Warlord’s Ruin for the first time this morning with a full on ignition build. Dawn Chorus warlock; touch of flame and hellion; ember of char, ashes, empyrean and singeing; solar fulmination; demo/incan Heliocentric and Dragon’s Breath. It worked phenomenally.

​@@Psyshimmer Nice yeah it's great on this build, you get the healing grenade back incredibly quickly while exploding enemies left and right. My kinetic slot was The Call with lead from gold / vorpal. Good ammo economy and provides consistent damage while dragon's breath reloads itself.

No resto/no empyrean makes this a non-starter for any endgame content. Swap Searing for empyrean Swap Touch of Flame for Heat Rises, you can still use fusion grenades for the cooldown and damage, firebolt for pure cooldown (3 seconds quicker) or resto grenade for panic healing if dive is on cooldown. Loop: Consume grenade, dive and snap into group of enemies, you do not need to stay in the air you can bunny hop to keep heat rises up, dive again to re-proc Helion and up resto x2 time by 3 seconds. Use the artifact mod for radiant. Also consider using sniper from the raid for utility (chill clip and chaos reshaped to ensure 1 tapping shield in GM content or explosive for AOE for overload stuns), and using something like zaouli's bane or the new side arm with heal clip + incandescent.

Overload champions continue to be a menace at higher difficulties. The artifact mod every season minus the rocket last time. Remains ineffective, even Divinity it's intrinsic just doesn't cut it anymore. They take too long to stun, and stay stunned for literal milliseconds.

You're doing it wrong... overloads don't need anything from the artifact because slow is prob the easiest subclass verb to apply in the game. Suppress works too as does jolt. If you ever have a hard time with overload you could throw on a chill clip riptide. Personally just using arc grenades with the fragment to jolt. All transcendance grenades also stun overload champs.

I swear this is almost the same build that I've been running for a while, the only major differences are I'm not using Ember of Char but Ember of Benevolence so I can run No Hesitation with Incandescent and Physic, I used a different grenade (Solar Grenade) because I thought it'd be the best choice, even the mods on my armor are similar. I was even using Song of Flame instead of Daybreak. I remember saying to my fireteam: "I wonder why nobody's talking about Dawn Chorus + Dragon's Breath, the scorch and ignitions are insane." Just remember not to use Helion during Song of Flame. The ignition from Helion is weaker than the one from the Super and it overwrites the ignition from the Super, so use it AFTER Song of Flame ends. If this combo is done properly it actually competes with Still Hunt Celestial Nighthawk in terms of DPS when using Dragon's Breath.

Run same stuff except Boots of the Assembler+Benevolence, tons of ability uptime, infinite healing seeker and healing rifts. Lumina is k. Witherhoard is better solo. Roar of the Bear can get 3rd column Demo, 4th column autoloading(I got lasting impression currently, love). Plenty of fusion grenades for demo-loading, also perfect for Song to empty all your reserves.

I've been using this build since act 2 dropped. I use eruption, combustion, char, and ashes. I like using combustion because every kill the firebird gets ignites enemies and the firebird can kill multiple enemies around a relatively large area. Personally, I think combustion is the best purely for wave clear on activities below master, such as the new battlegrounds.

I'm tickled pink now that can not only light the world on fire, but I can ensure my fireteam get to stand there and watch it burn with me. What a time to be a warlock.

Love the build! It just feels like Dawn Chorus is wasted here since you’re playing for the ignitions instead of scorch burn damage. I run a similar build but with Speaker’s Sight, Ember of Benevolence (instead of Singing) and have just as much damage output but with added survivability.

It doesn't build up scorch faster. Ashes mKes scorched build up faster. The helmet doubles the damage scorch does, but doesn't spread more scorch for faster ignitions.

Been a Warlock main ever since Season of Opulence. Even to this day, I cannot for the life of me get used to using Phoenix Dive with Solar 3.0 because having a constant source of healing with my Rift as opposed to a one-and-done on Phoenix Dive weighs so much more in my head.

I used to feel the same tbh, but after I switched and forced myself to use it for a while, I ended up liking it better. The burst of instant healing has saved me far more than the long animation and slow healing of a rift. To each their own though.

Uzume from nightfalls whenever it’s in the weekly rotation is pretty damn good. There is also The Long Walk from Prophecy, the Luna Regolith III from Zavala’s packages, Twilight Oath from the Dreaming City, the IKELOS Sniper whenever Operation Seraph Shields is up. There’s also a world drop sniper too that I can’t remember

I do ‘t understand touch of flame. Like. The ignitions do so much damage that the second explosion’s damage becomes negligible. Use heat rises for infinite snaps and then you can get off dawn chorus.

why dawn chorus? when you ignite it gets rid of scorch stacks leading to very minimal difference in damage.

Valid point But My reasoning myself is the ability regen to the melee giving you half and then heat rising dose the rest It's like cali's knife regen, absolutely redundant but useful however it's more prominent in gm level because the ticks add up but your melee can stun champion and save you from being swarmed

I don’t think Dawn Chorus is worth using if you’re not using Daybreak. Scorch as a DOT just isn’t that powerful that tripling your scorch damage is worth it, as Dawn Chorus doesn’t affect scorch stacks. Felwinter’s or Verity’s feel much better with this. Also, Song of Flame deals more damage because it’s a longer super. Daybreak is a much faster, so higher DPS, super.

Its by no means "mandatory" there are an amazing number of nutty strong builds thanks to prismatic, especially with the new exotic class items. We were all creaming ourselves a few weeks ago over how busted Prismatic is and now for some reason you think those builds just disappeared. Its not like prismatic was nerfed so what changed? Every season has some weapon that rises to the top but that doesn't mean you can't crush content with other just as amazing weapons and builds.

the current exotic rotator mission in the Legends tab will drop Season 19 red borders which includes this Ikelos sniper. You will also get the Revision Zero pulse rifle if you don't have it yet.

Tbh the helmet is not needed, scorch damage is not the meat of the damage anyways. I’d use mantle of battle harmony or verity’s. Mantle will give your super back really fast and verity’s will make your fusions charge fast as hell and nuke shit.

Its good but its definitely not solo grandmaster material or even master nightfall. Besides your class ability survivability doesnt exist and damage is great but only in specific moments.

It sucks that Well, Phoenix Protocol, Starfire Protocol, and Sunbracers were nerfed that we have to rely on Dawn Chorus builds this season. I can't get behind using Dawn Chorus builds when half the exotic isn't even functioning because nobody uses Dawnblade outside of PvP. And the other half is a passive "your scorch burn damage is increased" and it just feels like I don't have an exotic equipped at all. At least with Prismatic we have a few usable Class Item combinations with Spirit of Necrotic, Star Eaters, Osmiomancy, Apotheosis, Verity, Harmony, Inmost Light, etc. I don't really see a need to switch to Solar just to use Dawn Chorus tbh. Pretty sure a Star Eater bond will let your Nova deal more damage than the extra scorch/ignitions would during a dps phase anyway.
