Personally would replace Fissures with either Torment or Hunger for either cycling your grenade or melee faster respectively. The damage increase from fissures is small. It's a buff for stasis crystals by about 15%, but for shatters is about a 6% buff. Or you could do reversal. Should freeze enemies in 2 hits with Winterbite instead of 3.

Can you only get 8 stacks of frost armor on stasis subclass? Been using this on prismatic but caps out at frost armor x5

The highest stacks you can get is 8 on stasis because of the fragment called whisper of rime.
