Thanks for the great videos. I really enjoy your channel. Have you ever tried to make your own Liquid Sodium Glass? I bought the ingredients after looking up a recipe online and I am about to try out a batch. The ingredients are inexpensive and the process seems very easy.

thanks for the feedback! No, I haven't. Why would you? Ready mix costs a couple bucks.

Not here it doesn't. I bought enough materials to make several gallons of the stuff for the cost of a 32 ounce bottle of ready made.

I made some recently. I thought I would just go out and buy some crystal Drano but, NO. they don't make or sell that brand anymore. Jeffrey Z. in SC

@@PulseCodeModulate I bought the fine silica gel and 100% lye on Amazon. WAY cheaper than buying the premade stuff. I will be making a batch tomorrow and testing the fireproofing ability to see how it goes. If it doesn't work I can use the lye to unclog my drains and the silica to dry flowers and leaves for other crafts.

"This business has made millions." Really. I find that hard to believe. How many candles to you have to sell to make millions?

I'm selling these candles for 25 bucks. Do the math.)

With millions (with an s) I think we have to be talking at least 80,000 candles.

I found the video to be interesting. Are you demonstrating a work at home business? By posting the video are you looking to recruit others? Nonetheless, I have purchased woodwick candles and they are not cheap. If you haven't yet made a million then I wish you the best of luck trying.

I'm just sharing my ideas :) Not trying to persuade anyone. Thanks, we sell candles like this for 25 bucks.

@@diy_wood that's cool. I like what your doing there. I'm sure you sell a lot of them because they are aesthetically pleasing. I would pass those only because you demonstrated how much wax your using. I can't imagine they last very long when used?

It’s amazing at the haters and Karen’s on these videos over the title heading. The creator of this page never claims he nor she makes any amount of money. It’s just a million dollar business. My guess is many of you don’t go to your local Malls or department stores and see the scented candles put out, many of them a lot like the ones in this video and quite expensive. A quick google search and you will find the scented candle industry is an 11 billion dollar and expected to grow to 14 billion by 2030. Or maybe some of you all are just jealous for not having the imagination for starting up such a simple KZbin yourselves. Karen on 😂

Thank you, my friend! A lot of people just don't get their ass off the couch and see nothing further than their house. That's why they write nasty things. Or if they don't buy it, they think no one will ever buy it. It's a survivor's error. Thank you for your adequate comment.

This candle is going to set someone’s house in fire because they forgot about it and eventually the wood casing ignites and then ignites the wood shelf it’s setting on and this then spreads. Candle of death is call it…
@diy_wood25 күн бұрын
First of all, it is written in the safety regulations that candles should not be left unattended! You can't leave any candles unattended! Not in glass, not in concrete! Secondly, this tree is coated with liquid sodium glass. And you can't even light it with a gas torch. Because it's a fireproof coating. It's used in the construction of stoves and fireplaces. Google it! And thirdly, it's a scented candle! You don't have to burn it for a long time. It takes 15-20 minutes for the wax to melt and give off the fragrance. Then you can extinguish it and it will smell for days after that! So before you run off and get smart in the comments think maybe you don't know the subject at all?
