Holy SMOKES. One of your best and one of the BEST I have seen of all the farming videos on You Tube I have watched. Should be on Nat Geo and Veterinarian monthly. How exciting and dramatic. Everyone was so calm and you all dealt with it as professionally as possible. I have had breach goat births on my farm but NOTHING LIKE THAT. Not Even Close.... Excellent Content and camera angles. I'm glad you were able to get the calf out ! my family had a calf born with a twisted leg on his head with three toes and two dew that was born out on the pasture without help which amazed me at the time . we kept him till he was full grown but around 1500ish pounds the leg on he's head was still growing and causing issues with him getting caught in fences ,feeders, etc. so we had to put him down .

I grew up on a farm. As the only daughter I was not allowed in the barn during calving. Never could figure that one out especially since I was the only child that would have loved being a farmer. What .........we are red on red all day 24 7 breed doesn't cause that it's just a freak thing that can happen. We have line breeding all around us and still doesn't cause any problems you can live your entire life and never see that it was supposed to be twins it merged and/ or didn't split properly and it happened.

Good thing she is halfed knocked out for this. The amount of pain she was in and would have gone through. Poor girl. That's apart of farming though. Defects happen. More common of a diary farm, and has to do with hormones if you ask me, a lot of dairy cows are induced to go in the season so they will be bred and make milk. It's not different from beef. Less common of beef farms. You all are juicing up your girls like a dairy farm is.
