This is probably my favorite Ember floorplan. I'd like to see Ember add an ABS & anti-sway system standard for all of their Overland Series models so that you can safely tow them on the highway while using an articulating hitch! I'd also like to see Ember configure all of their Overland Series bathrooms the same way they do on their new E-Series, with a 30"x36" shower and adjacent linen cabinet. The footprint of the bathrooms in both the Overland and E-Series are basically identical in size but the 24"x40" shower enclosures in the Overland Series units are too narrow! I'm also sad/mad that they haven't yet brought the lugan-style tables to this or other Overland Series units (except for the 240TKR). I wish that they'd add a screen for the rear access cargo door (like they have on the small side cargo door of the 240TKR). Such a screen door would be great for getting airflow through the RV without having to open the large flip-up side cargo door every time. Also, it would be great for boondocking if Ember would add an integrated off-grid water filter (like from Blu Tech). Finally, what mfgs need to realize on these off-grid and/or "MAX Solar" setups is having an inverter is both nice and necessary, but the more things you can do WITHOUT engaging the invertor, the better your battery usage will be. People/mfgs need to think of inverters like generators, there are times when you need them, but you should use them as little as possible. Just running your invertor (with no appliance draw) will slowly drain your battery…and inverters just being on draw more power than many small charging devices. It's also why mfgs should ALWAYS include 12v "cigarette lighter" plugs in addition to USB A and USB C plugs. Many high draw electronics (like laptops, CPAP machines, or any electronic that comes with an in-line "brick" on the 110v charging cord) can be changed with automobile charging cords (that plug into the "cigarette lighter" barrel-style plugs) and don't need a full 110v change via the inverter. Instead, they need between the 5-volt maximum of a USB charging plug and the full 12 volts from the "cigarette lighter" outlet. So PLEASE ADVOCATE with RV mfgs you deal with for both for 12v appliances AND 12v "cigarette lighter" plugs in addition to USB A and USB C plugs in new RVs!!

Beats traipsing through a muddy field, in the rain, to the toilet block, in the dark!! Or traipsing through the muddy field in the rain in the dark to find a bush to pee behind! Ahh, the joys of camping when I was a kid. Wearing all the clothes you brought with you, at the same time because you’re so bloody cold. Spending 2 weeks never quite feeling dry, and yet I loved it.

Myles, in a word: INCREDIBLE. Have to say that I think the area in what would normally be for storage (?), they instead chose to make an office/convertible sleeping area instead (AND a direct hatch to open the office up to the outside)?! BRILLIANT!! With all the innovations in RVs, I know I'm not an expert insofar as RV designs go, but Ember seems like they're trailblazers in design innovation maybe? As usual, GREAT work and keep bringing us the goods!! P.S. I want one!

I wasn't sure if I was going to agree with you on this one, but wow! So many nice little touches throughout, and nice versatility. And a stargazing window?! The kitchen though... I was just complaining the other day why residential stoves don't have at least three large burners. Haha However, anyone can get creative when needed and use other electric type appliances too. So really not a big deal! A murphy bed is really a great space saver! I forgot to really look at storage, but you could easily turn that flex space into a closet or more storage space if you needed. I could see you using that desk space and someone taking a nap in a bunk space above it and taking peeks at you now and then. Haha. The "peekaboo"😄 shades are nice too. I actually really like those because you can always see out a little bit and still have privacy. Nice trailer Myles! Built really well too!! Funny, one of the last ones you saw was what you really liked! It is really nice, especially if you want to take it anywhere your truck can go. :) Looks like a Firmly Unbound type of trailer for sure! (Is it very expensive?)

I had to look at the bathroom again. So many details to remember! Ha. But, the grab handle for the shower? That didn't really seem like it would help get you in shower in that spot. But I am having another flashback memory... 😄 Well, it might came in handy regardless.

I've been looking at the 201FBQ, but this layout answers the dilemma of finding a dedicated space for the dog and ebike. I hope Ember has rectified the build quality and customer service issues reported over the last few years. I understand a new company will have its hiccups. Great review.

Love this camper! Love the back area that's currently an office. I'd use it for a walk-in pantry with an ice machine and mini freezer/micro office. Love the warm water circulation idea in the show and how it changes color when it's ready. However, who watches for that? How about making it beep or something when it's ready. I thnk that would be cool.

Love the composite material and build quality that eliminates wood in the shell and clean seams that eliminate the “goop”. Perhaps they can consider hiding the roof electrical connections under one of the solar panels. This provides further protection the the connections, cleans the look, reduces trip hazard and still allows maintenance by “tilting the panel” up on an adjustable mount. Adjustable/tiltable solar mounts help with maintenance and maximize solar input.

I'm honestly thinking about an rv to live in for maybe 5-10 years. I tried renting apartments and I'm just not into it and not ready to buy a home yet, so I've been looking at RVs. The o ly thing is, I should probably be looking at older ones to save money, but this one is by far my favorite small rv that I have seen so far. I absolutely love the layout and love that it had a full unlike some vans/small RVs I've seen (I'm with you on the TV though)!

Round sink and cover is nice design to keep the cover from falling in (manhole cover) but is awkward when you have rectangle cutting boards or sink bins. Perhaps Ember can make the lid flippable such that the underside is a cutting board. Maybe include a half moon insert for the sink that serves as a split sink wash bin and rinse area.

In that flex space, is there an option for a shelf and/or a storage bin that spans left to right above that back access door? How about an option for a pet bed under the desk? Could you put in a desk that has 2 different levels? Also, since there are bed options for that space, could you store a bed shelf/mattress up near the ceiling so it's there if you need it? And this may be a dumb question but how secure is the screen in the flex space? If you had a twin bed up high so a kid could use the floor area for a play space, would you need to put some kind of guard rail system across the screened area to keep the kid from accidentally falling through?

I would leave the Murphy bed down all the time. I wish the tv on the kitchen side and across from reclining theater seats. I would rather have a freestanding table than one that hitches to the sofa. Love the bathroom and extra storage in the rear. Hopefully you can get a big e-bike through that storage compartment door.

Would love to see a small access hole (2" dia) in the floor, back in the office area, where I could run a coax cable through. I'm a ham radio operator and I haven't seen any RV with any kind of access hole in the floor. So, if I try to add one myself I'm guess if I'm going to hit anything (water tank, electrical line, water line, waist line, etc...) There are a lot of out there and the question keeps coming up with other ham radio RV'ers... That and Anderson Power Pole plugs (for DC powering a radio). Call it a ham radio option!!! I'd pay for it! Luv the 800 watts of solar charging and inverter, size of fresh water tank, showermiser, not a fan of the over priced Battle Born batteries (there are a lot of better priced LifePO4 batteries on the market now), like the Winegard prep, TPMS, 40lbs of LP... wow!

I'd like to see more office space in this unit. Why not put that office on a small slider? It looks pretty tight in there. If they did that, this unit would work well for me, as I need space for 2 24" monitors, keyboard and mouse, a printer, a lamp and a chair I can lean back in.

We have this rig and the sliders, as you call them, come in two widths to make up each bunk. We did find that the larger width was too wide and used the narrower panel (slider) for the table top. However I didn't like the corner slant at the fridge end, it didn't feel symmetrical to me as I walked into the area. so my husband turned it upside down making the slant now in the back corner. We did use one of the wider panels above the table top and filled it with storage bins. The great thing about the tracking system is you can do whatever configuration works for your needs. The other two panels and the mattresses we do not currently use. This is a great rig! Ember is a great company. If you sit on the other couch or the bed when down the TV is in a perfect place. Both are exactly the same for comfort if you use a foot stool. You can always have a foot stool with storage. Never can have enough storage spaces 🙂

TWO things. ONE @16:45 those versatile shelves should have handle straps on the edges for easier moving / carrying. Two, on ALL your videos can you do a close up shot of the water line connections, especially sink, toilet and underneath. I'm finding out cheap tubing and connections to save a few bucks from the manufacturer is costing owners hundreds if not thousands in repairs from water damage / leaks and we all want to know which manufacturers are doing this so we can all specifically AVOID those models.
