I’m not sure if you’ve seen it on Facebook/Twitter, but my case had 8 hot boxes with 90 YG IN EACH BOX. There were between 3-6 YG per pack and in total I ended up with between 11-14 YG of each player. It was the most insane case I opened.

I think the freaked up YG cards flip over in the stacking machines and end up in another pack and that's why you end up with a base pack. Good ol upper deck quality control...lol

Just started collecting hockey and is there a reason why they rarely put autos in the boxes? Any basketball/football hobby box will have 1-3 autos in a box and a few numbered cards, seems odd to only have 1 numbered card out of three boxes

The packs that seem like base most likely contain the french version base card. They are hard to see as the print is on the grey line near the name

Those looked a lot like the two boxes I opened. No Zegras or Caufield. Although I did pull a Malkin canvas, which may be my new favorite card. And the quality control is pretty terrible, I even got a blank.

I preordered a case of Series 1, and am disappointed and mystified as a result. Mystified by the random amount of ygs per hobby box(10 in several boxes, 5 in 1 box!), and disappointed in the quality control. 70 percent of ygs had a frayed/fuzzy lower left cardface, and some of the inserts were horribly off-centered. I pulled a Kaprizov Fanatics card, and several black sp yg canvas cards. Pulled a French Caulfield, and CC Drysdale.😁 The only other concern is overproduction, but we will see in time. One of the boxes I bought had 2 packs with only 4 card and another pack with only 5 cards. Was disappointed, but ended up with 2 Zegras YG cards, so was pleased with that. The Zegras were from 2 different boxes.

I’m a younger collector (25) collected as a kid with my mom chasing Crosby, and got back into it a few years ago 2019ish. I’m just wondering why everybody likes to collect young guns? I just don’t see the hype. I like to collect stuff that looks nice, or is serial numbered or autographed. I get getting that huge hits that’s worth a ton of money but why are regular young guns worth so much?
