This Candy is ONLY Made every 365 days! The first time we made this bark was back in 2021 and it was with milk chocolate. And then we made it again, but with white chocolate and it was so Eastery looking that we decided to make it an Easter special bark! I think it looks a lot better with white chocolate. What do you think?

💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. I love the Easter candy making process. Fruity pebbles would be my favorite for sure. Steve is a pro chocolate creator. He always makes your mouth water when he’s melting the chocolate and adding special goodies to it. And I love Julia’s new spring apron. Love to complement on her different ones for the season. She’s a sweetheart!

My brother would flip. This is his favorite cereal. Being a chocoholic, I prefer Cocoa Pebbles. I sometimes make Fruity Pebbles marshmallow treats. Though, they are much sweeter than the Rice Krispy version. So, a little Fruity Pebbles treat goes a long way.

The first time I ate Fruity Pebbles was in 1968 or 1969. My mom found them in the commissary when we lived on Okinawa. I was 9.

@@98slime86 I don't know how it was shipped to the island. By plane probably. I don't remember ever seeing any cargo ships. Okinawa is a very tiny island. It's about 60 miles long, and goes from 7.5 miles wide to 17.5 miles wide. It was a very interesting place to live. I'd love to go back for a visit some day, but it will probably never happen.

I would love to try this. If Scott doesn't like white chocolate but he likes this combination. I have never liked Fruity Pebbles, but maybe I'd like it with white chocolate. I think Cap'n Peanut Butter cereal would be awesome with milk chocolate. I know a lot of people talk about Reeses Peanut Butter cereal, but I think Cap'n Crunch is superior. I wonder if Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries would be good with white chocolate? It would look very Easter-y in color too. Love the videos. Julia has the best laugh, Scott is very funny and love Steve working with chocolate, the rhythm is very soothing.

Should use the malt o meal version with marshmallows. Is still the full sugar formula, where most of the name brand sugary cereals have changed the recipe to reduce sugar. Plus it has those lucky charm style marshmallows.

Recently I bought a vanilla Wedny’s Frosty (which I never get). To me, if it’s not chocolate, it’s not a Frosy. Anyway, I Kept it in the freezer for a few days (frozen damn near solid)… microwaved it for 25 seconds and it was the perfect consistency to that adding a massive amount of Fruity Pebbles. Threw the frosty into and Frosty into a mixing bowl and mixed my hand until it was all beautifully incorporated. The cool temp the pebbles hard a crunch. It was one amazing. Anyone reading this should give it a shot, at least once. It almost turned out sort DQ Blizzard-esque. Even sprinkled a bit of of granulated sugar on top for a little added texture and more sweetness. It was a very glutinous thing to do, but well worth it. Absolutely delicious, friends.

Oohh Fruity Pebbles my favorite unnatural cereal. Some day I may get some & eat it in front of my sister just to see her face. She's mostly health conscious & would abhor Fruity Pebbles. The colors, the sugar the unnatural yummy goodness. Mmmmm, also it's not so bad for you if you eat the occasional bowl as a dessert instead of breakfast.

Fruity pebbles is crushed rice flavored and colored multiple different colors. There is also a chocolate version called cocoa pebbles. The cereal got it's name from a toddler character from the cartoon The Flintstones the toddlers name is pebbles.
