Elias Pettersson played well, Thatcher Demko is back and the Canucks are really gearing up well for the NHL playoffs which start up in less than 1 week. Time to get excited Canucks fans, are they gonna play the Nashville Predators, Vegas Golden Knights or the Los Angeles Kings?

Nashville will be the 1st wildcard team (because of regulation wins compared to the other wild card team), and either Los Angeles or Vegas will for sure be the second wild card team. Best for Vancouver to finnish 2nd in west and meet the highest ranking wild card team, which is already decided: Nashville.

Or alternatively, if Vancouver does not win their last game against Winnipeg (which is the next day), then Vancouver will remain 2nd in the division for sure and play Nashville. But if Dallas loses AND Vancouver wins their last game, Vancouver will be first (due to regulation wins) with same points, and get to play Los Angeles (or also possible but less likely, Vegas)

If your going against a team worse than you are and you dont play down to them no matter the experiece, you should win.
