Montage dragon has a special place in my heart. Back in school we all played dogshit decks focused around specific types and I was the one with dragon stuff. Montage dragon was just big enough most of the time to beat over everyone’s bosses and combined with REDMD bring back the discards I thought I was god

I think the only time I seen Montage Dragon was in Dragon Ruler. And I think that was only a tech choice for the mirror to beat over Obelisk.

@@snakeonaked4264 I dont remember much of full power Dragon Rulers. But there was a lot of wacky stuff you seen in it since a 4k beater is good and the deck rarely used a normal summon. Obelisk was good cause it was a faster Towers then Qli and Dragon Rulers couldnt deal with 4k, un-targetable unless they ran Obelisk to or alterative techs

Montage Dragon was one of my favorite monster cards back in the day in terms of design. It screams early 5D's so hard, that and Iron Chain Dragon too. Wish it had a new retrain or evolution in modern day ygo

To be honest, it looks like it is possible to play this card as the finisher, even if you don't use as amny the bricks and not make the entire Deck revolve around it. Just play a lot of high level monsters that you can Summon with good effects or easy to Summon. Like Beast King Barbaros. And just pulling out the big stick that kills the opponent is a timeless classic. No one is ever prepared to get whipped by a 10K ATK monster out of the blue.

I'm not super familiar with what cards are in Edison, but I'm thinking it might be more consistent in the long run to place as many big machines as possible even if they are 1 or 2 levels lower just so we play as few cards that 100% bricks as possible

You love bricks. And trust me. The kills are so finite. You need the 11 and 12 star monsters . The deck makes no sense if your attack isn’t a kill so a 6000 berserk will just not cut it. But honestly I love more people labbing it out so please prove me wrong😄

Yubel + Montage dragon got a lot of use in duel links... As a deck to farm the AI, most AI don't have an out for Yubel Terror Incarnate so you would rush it out using fire king island/Yaksha, then last turn use all the yubels in hand to summon a 10000+ montage dragon, use Exile of the Wicked to destroy the Yubel TI to summon Yubel The Ultimate Nightmare from the grave, then use Shien's spy to give your opponent the montage dragon then attack with Yubel TUN to deal 10000+ effect damage

The side deck is definitely not optimal, I actually brought this deck to a tournament and spent some time fixing it! I am making a video now about it but for not, cards like doomcaliber knight are great to play around ryko/honest. And honestly exiled force is incredible for set monsters/reaper/cards that can’t be killed by battle!
