I left wrenching because my shop closed but I never went back because of my kids. Seems like this industry prides itself on the long drawn out nights and extended hours techs put in to get cars in and out. I have those air swivels on almost every single one of my air tools. They are all Cornwell. Just FYI. Cornwell is the only company that will lifetime warranty their swivels. Snap-on one year. Mac one year. There are a few other brands and they are still just one year. The seals inside of them will go bad. But I will say I have not had any go bad yet on the Cornwell. The real question is… what Pokémon did your son get? 😂 But I’ve been looking at slide top carts for work for the very reason of having a flat surface close by to work on parts, if harbor freight made an equivalent to that they would capitalize so much

Astro makes a high flow universal I’ve been switching my old air tool swivels to those along with “V” style high flow couplers made a huge difference along with 1/2” air lines . I have that IR impact, used it today to pull the subframe on my 13 focus. Also I have that IR right 3/8 angle impact and it’s impressive in my opinion. The nano is a beast as well! Have you done a video with some background on yourself? I noticed the ASE sticker o your main box would be interested in your automotive background, if you don’t mind sharing of course.
@ToolBoxTour11 ай бұрын
All my videos are toolbox tours. I may do a live stream here on KZbin for anyone with questions about me. Not sure when that will be, but I will give everyone a day/time they can tune in. However as far as the ASE sticker goes - I wrenched professionally for about 14 years total.

@andrewkeaton709711 ай бұрын
Love the content, I regularily watch your videos. I'd have to agree on the pinned vs pinless universial design ontop of the fact that the captive hardware used to retain the pin seems add more bulk to an already bulky socket (and if its not held captive that pin is guaranteed to pop out). Also that prevost opbd201 seems to be a compareable sidestep to the cornwells and such, there is also the astro 3sb40 which seems on par with the others and is slightly cheaper if people really want to watch their wallet seeing most are familiar with the astro name. Final thing is im disappointed I didn't get to find out what pokemon were acquired. 😄 Have a good weekend.
@ToolBoxTour11 ай бұрын
Yeah that does look like a good alternative to the Prevost. The Craftsman is one of the very few options to find a USA made pinless design out there, but the Gearwrench should satisfy most people. And I agree about the captive hardware! Just makes things bulky and in the way. Also - he found an electric type Pokémon haha!

@@ToolBoxTournot to be a hater, but a flip top, that flips up from the front, and stands upright..... Like the cheap harbor freight carts..... It's great for putting a magnet plate and displaying tools. It explodes the functional space of the top portion of the box. I would never want a sliding top like this. You can get magnet racks for all the quarter inch and 3/8 sockets ...and stick them on the flip top lid. And use the entire top level horizontal portion for wrenches and pliers
@ToolBoxTour11 ай бұрын
I don’t think you’re a hater at all! Since I’ve left wrenching, I actually don’t care for the slide top since I can’t open the top without moving it away from the wall. I agree with you 100%. It worked super well for me while I was wrenching professionally though. 💪

Thanks Mark! It served me well. One thing I don’t care for about it.. if you want to open one of the sliding tops, you have to take everything off on top.
