I would recommend diverging to include: Bureaucratic Ethos, Maritime Mercantilism, Legalistic, Seafarers, Metalworking and Beacon of Learning

I mean the obvious picks for traditions are Malleable Invaders, Coastal Warriors, Maritime Mercantilism and Polders. Since you will get a ton of money it would be good to have expensive men at-arms. You could get some sort of Heavy Cavalry met-at-arms and then get some related traditions. Maybe Byzantine Traditions or the Norman tradition where you can get the Conrois men-at-arms

by the time he gets to scandinavia im not sure norse will still exist, might make the first two (although malleable is debatable whether itll be needed) hard to get, although they would be really good if they were got maritime and polders are both good shouts for money, tho dexterous fisherman is good too (mainly coastal advantage and maa bonuses from tradeports - i thought the latter was seafarers but wiki says no) also i dont think byzantine traditions exists with roads to power

The conqueror trait doesn’t actually make you immortal that’s not possible to get as a player. it just makes it easier to conqueror stuff in general lol and refusing it is just plain wrong. It’s very rare to get that event naturally which is why it’s so disappointing you turned it down.

@@Eykoo-b3hthat’s typically why I let conquerors have a low chance to get scourge of god. They actually become terrifying especially if left unchecked. I played in Georgia and a sog conqueror in Mali controlled almost all of Africa with 25,000+ troops. This was not the new start either.

In the mid game of something similar with the canaries, easy way to get the islands is to focus on raiding Iberia and Italy to mass gold and then use mercenaries to get a foothold on weaker nations in Hispania. Don't discount gold when tribal you can dump it into legends as well other than the obvious Norse hybrid culture you could shoot for a mass skirmisher build strenght in numbers with mountain herding for the best light infantry in the game. They are still bad, but it'll be enough numbers to placate vassels. Also, careful with you daughters cause you have equal inheritance. Glad to see your back though!

I were thinking, because u gonna conquer a lot of things, it might be frankly worth to just keep Mystical Ancestor for speedrunning the familial perks, I personnaly tried it with buriats, and it was kinda stronk. It still dangerous to have family as strong vassals, but honestly, it's worth the bothering if you go in conqueror shit.
