I was told as a child it is wrong to laugh at the misfortune of others, but couldn’t help laughing when VF hit that stump and lost the multiple logs from the log grab at exactly the point when he was congratulating himself! But to be less cruel, I must say how much I am enjoying this series, with the hardcore nature of the terrain adding to the experience.

Cut and lay uphill from their stump, so they rest on it. And when you go with your log forks you el have something to push against. Also if you park your timber truck facing downhill then your logs will be easier to stack at the front of the bed, and will be certain it will roll off with no issues when fully loaded.

buy a big bag carrier and you will find it's brilliant, you won't drop them and you can carry more too

Hey Vf the Leibher track loader has a nice grab that has tension belts on it that work great. The rubber tire case loader also has a grab that has a tension belt on it. You can open and close them realistically but those belts help with keeping them in place while carrying them. The track loader with that grab is very realistic. You wouldn't catch me on that slope with a tractor. I operste all those machines like that and the ones construction sim for a living. Anyway another great video!

I do want to get that tracked tractor on the mountain. it would be so much more stable!

Hey VF, thanks for showing my idea worded better as you thought! It looks like all you need is a bit bigger tractor and bigger forks, then you can load almost entire trees at once. Or is that too optimistic? Anyway, I really like how you react to comments and show things in the videos.

Thanks. I think I definitely need to try this with a bigger grab, although that probably won't happen until we make the move to Silverrun Forest now.

One day in FS we'll be able to actually get under piles! I always had more success using that front loader log grab coming at the pile from the top and using the static forks as a "wall"

It surprised me I was able to get under them as well as I was in this. Definately going to have to try it with a larger grab now!
