Excellent quick dip into Andor and Character Development, which need not be complex to be believable. Still a well written commentary, trimmed of the superfluous fat. You will make it to Tony Gilroy levels one day.

Agreed. Every other Imperial we see in most other stories is just a saturday morning cartoon villain who is bumbling or evil just because. But this guy had some depth with a backstory, motivation, and goals.

Great insights. Another layer that adds to the complexity of this commandant was when he asked his men to cooperate. Just a delicious detail, imo. Credits to Nina Gold for such a perfect overall casting of the show. 12 hours may be a tad ambitious so I’m looking forward to your 8-hour ANDOR analysis.

And don´t forget that in someways it's even hard to say Cyril IS evil. I mean... what evil has he done? Chasing after someone who murdered two officers? From his point of view, Cyril is being heroic in not giving up until capturing a murderer.
