Basically it said in a nut shell, the outside world had nothing to ofter the middle Kingdom, China, and thus they turned their backs to it and looks in ward. This lead to the stagnation of Chinese society and development, causing them to fall from being the most technologically and socially advanced nation in the world at the time to one that was easily taken over by and dominated by the various western powers along with Japane a few centuries later. Ironically, China is not at all interested in doing that. They've seen what jingoism does to America, how it's inherently counter-revolutionary and reactionary, and obviously has no desire to lower the quality of its own citizenry's intellectual and moral framework. They see what and how America has built itself into the global hegemon that it is, and it wants to see that order scattered. It wants a multipolar world, not a unipolar world where they just replace America. China, ironically, is set and determined to do and be BETTER than America. Not that that's hard, given America is really the only global bad guy (with apartheid, genocidal regimes like Israeli zionism being a literal extension of American Empire, and functionally comparable to an important American state, like NY or Cali or Texas, not a boring state nobody cares about like Iowa or Ohio).

The thing about China "having more ships" is also misleading. Yes, the Chinese Navy has more ships, but many "ships" are missile boats that can’t travel far. A Brit doing a Chinese military analysis when at the same time the ENTIRE British military - all branches - would fit inside MetLife stadium in New Jersey. Who only has around 40+ functional tanks operating, and their barrel’s are out of production. Whose air wings are in disrepair. Who can’t produce enough ammo to sustain a war for more than several weeks. Whose Navy breaks, collides at a blink of an eye. Aircraft carriers that have to be towed back to port. Whose Navy was DEFEATED in the Red Sea battles by the Houthis and had to skittle away at night. A battalion of well-equipped Grandmother’s could defeat the UK Army! Send’m to fight the Russians or Chinese and nearly all world return home in body bags. And, BTW, the UK is in an extended recession and expected to decline into its worst depression, and into the 3rd world. China’s mobile land-based hypersonic missile forces cover out past the second island chain including S. Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Guam, Philippines and everything in between. They also reach out to the Eastern Indian Ocean. This DOES NOT INCLUDE their Air and surface/sub Naval fleet which also provides additional offensive power; hypersonic missile capabilities, etc. China’s long-range land-based nuke/conventional ballistic and sub ballistic hypersonic missiles and space based nuclear glide vehicles can cover the entire U.S. and nearly the ENTIRE WORLD fired from China and off the coast. Australia, Hawaii, Singapore, New Caledonia, and a staging base on an Indian Island in the Indian Ocean would also be important targets. In fact ALL U.S. supply chain staging areas are within range. This means that EVERY surface ship, and EVERY land military installation is at threat of a hypersonic missile attack and not just one, but wave after wave after wave. They CANNOT be stopped. China has the most comprehensive A2/AD interoperable defensive shield in recorded military history. China’s AI fully autonomous robotic cruise missile manufacturing plants can - get this - build 1,200 cruise missiles every 24 hours! (Search and you will find video tours of the facility.) China can produce MORE THAN the entire annual U.S. inventory of cruise missiles in ONE WEEK!!! And China’s manufacturing capabilities mean it will not run out of any wartime supply, ship, missile, or plane. Prepare for America’s worst military defeat in its history and one of the worst in recorded world history. …and This is The Way…

The U.S. constantly provoking the situation around China and endangering China's interests. On March 19, 2023, Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Adm. Samuel Paparo was interviewed by CBS aboard the Carrier USS Nimitz near Guam: The Chinese Rocket Force's Hypersonic Missiles (like the DF-21 and DF-26) can destroy U.S. aircraft carriers and U.S. military bases. China is also using its 9,000 mile coastline to rewrite the rules of fighting at sea. I'll never admit to being ready enough. I worry. You know, I'd be a fool to not worry about it. Of course, I worry about the PLA Rocket Force! Now the distance between us and PLA is 1500 nautical miles, they can hit us. If they've got the targeting in place, they could hit this Carrier USS Nimitz. This pure protectionism. It is historically and currently the opposite of Hawaii. It has always been considered part of China. Hawaii was forcibly annexed from it's indigenous population for private entrepreneurs. Currently the Hawaii naval development has three to four times the floorplan let alone the sophistication of the facilities. Hainan island is within 10 Kms of the mainland of China and it is and always has been part of mainland territory. Hawaii was not before, is now and projects USA interests far into the Pacific well away from it's countries interests. Guam is similar. Indeed USA invasion of Philippines in 1898/9 is again another instance of real imperialist behaviour. What China does on its own land in order to defend itself from imperialist powers is their own business.
