I am just starting out this season and I just built from scratch for about $65. I wish my Dad had these we I worked with him about a decade ago. I don’t understand why every professional lawn companies don’t use these. I don’t know how many people I see cutting grass with out one discharging near cars.

I use Qwikchute on my Gravely hd44 which does not extend beyond the edge of the deck and needs 47 inches of clearance to access rear gates. I don't mind the handle because my previous chute blocker required you dismount the machine to slip it on or off.

I love chute blockers. I run a qwikechute on my granstand but will probably try one of those electric ones when I get another mower. I always cringe seeing people running mowers without them blowing stuff everywhere Idk how they do it.

I really need to get a shoot blocker for at least one of my Hustler walk behinds. I don’t know if I should get it for my 54 inch or 36 inch. I can’t really afford two at once. 36 inch is great for tight spaces so it’ll be great to block from blowing stuff on mulch beds but I use my 54 inch 90% of the time.

I have the toro 36 GS and bought the Slim HD w/ magnetic no drill setup. Vertical motor hits the lift spring when I lift deck past 4” setting. Are you using the drill option or the magnetic option. Just curious. Thx

Have you had any issues with any of your green guard chute blockers over the years? i have the same chute blocker on toro 36" walk behind, and so far I have had to send it back a week after buying it, the motor stopped working. Then the shaft got loose and wouldn't stay closed when in the closed position with the blades on, so there was about an inch gap between the chute and mower when it should it have been tight. Now I'm having to change out the wiring and rocker switch because the chute is in stuck open. I love the product, and the owner has been extremely accommodating, I've only dealt with him directly so it seems so far, and I'm super appreciative there. just wish i hadn't had as many issues in such a short period of time My mower only has 278 hours on it, I'm guessing Ive only got to use the chute blocker maybe less than 100 of those hours, in addition to the additional cost and time of having to send the product back, updating the shaft kit, and now the rocker switch and wiring harness and down time, I've spent about half of the overall initial cost to buy the products/shipping needed to get it back working properly. The times that I've been able to use it has definitely spoiled me, and even with those minor issues, i'd buy many more of the same green guard chute blockers from the owner, and i still think its a solid product. I'd agree 100%, definitely a must have.

I got a good deal on the gravely pro stance. I believe the engineers were paid to make this an inferior mower. Smh. Fat controls with a wider gap between, gas access sticks out and will hit mailbox, etc, foot petal deck assist is trash and mostly good for also taking things out like gates. The deck lift is MUCH heavier on this 32 vs the 48ferris This is a crap mower compared to the Ferris. I got a good deal but was it worth it idk Shame on gravely for letting their engineers get away with this mess
