I remember clan wars of hundreds of players, good times, these console companies are learning about how popular role playing open world games are. But this is rockstar, they love control, those other games let players control the game world, economy, and updates because it was monthly subscription and they didn’t sell in game cash and ruin their economy, the only way to level up or get money was by playing...oh and you could die and lose items, trade them, give them away...it was your choice! Sure there were scammers but clans like this kept new players from being scammed by opportunists... good times

I ran a crew of 100 strong in BF1 back in the day. We had a hierarchy and rank system and promotion system. It's fun, adds a completely new depth, but it's also very time consuming. All of my waking hours were spent on Discord, dealing with dishonorable discharges, and holding basic and advanced trainings. It was crazy and I miss it a lot sometimes, but I don't think I could ever go back to running huge groups. The amount of Discord DMs and constant party invites I had to deal with was insanity. I actually still to this day get messages from former members and it's been something like 4 years. I can only imagine what this guy has to do on a daily basis.

See how little effort they make, while they still earn lots of money. If they only cared a little bit we wouldve had heists already. @@hanselthecaretaker well keep in mind it took a long time before gta online was really any good. It’s been updated for over 6 years now. Rdo is kinda new. GTA online was so boring and there were no ways to make money two years after launch. The heists took years to launch but when it did it saved the game in a way. GTA online has died many times. Red dead online will die and come back many times as well. If it’s like gta. Like many people have said rdo need heists and property to breath good life into it. They need to cut back on greed and put in more content. They need this backlash to get better also. They officially fucked everything so at this point it’s gonna be so or die.

This is so cool, i wish I could join something like that. I struggle with the shooting aspect but love this game, an my one friend that plays with me doesn't do it very often anymore so I kinda just bumb around (now working on collector) but cant do Bounty or Trade by myself yet 🥺 It makes me happy to see clans like this on RDRO. I am constantly coming against griefers, they even crashed mt pc a few times by spawning a a bunch of bears over an over, or the explosive thing. I get wanting to go against players and be an "outlaw" but its the hackers an cheaters that make it really hard to enjoy the game

The same goes for MC's with Gta Online, I used to spend years, months, weeks and days roleplaying as a biker. From prospect to making my very own successful club. There was always important meetings and things to discuss. The real side of the MC world within Gta Online all talk with each other, we all interacted. I mean this was thousands of people who knew each other, either gamertag to gamertag or through someone else. Some lucky clubs are still playing to this day and a lot of them are even friends outside of the game now, many found partners through it as well. When ever Gta 6 is finished, I will most definitely start up my club which is idling on socialclub at the moment.

I was actually in a few crews and even lead some to. at one point my crew was fighting along side Charon in a war that went on forever. I had spoken to cutterlocus quite a few times before hand it was very epic. However this video went into all the good things about it and not the bad things and this is why I parted ways with them. Charon very often booted people offline on Xbox just to complete a clients contract. I know this for sure as one of my friends was in Charon for a good while I had also fought with them seeing all of this. They wouldn’t just go after griefers but also the people who were being griefied if they were I hired in that way. I’m not saying that it is this guys fault saying all this nice stuff but he might have just been told the wrong things. And in my opinion a smaller crew is heaps more fun anyways😀

This is why I tend to be an "freelancer" I I named my posse "Freelancer" an solo gunslinger. I avoid such dumb gangs and groups that spreads false ass shit. This is why I hate dumb communities. I love the idea of playing online but I always play in defensive mode because I play solo and hate when 1 of 5 players you pass will kill you without a thought. The other day there were 4 players in a shootout with the police in Saint Denis and one was downed, I figured I'd be nice and revive him, since I wasn't rushing to do anything specific, so I revived him and as I was leaving on my horse, he whipped out his cattlemen and destroyed me. It was one of those moments that reminded me why I hate mmo rpgs and I haven't picked up the game since. The only reason I would never join crews like CI is because they have rules like "You have to be in offensive mode, turning on defensive mode will result in an instant ban" which I get if your doing a crew related thing but if not, I just want to do my own thing without worry about assholes on the internet

Sure i can see the appeal, but it's bound to recruit it's own griefers, thats obvious. The game is what it is, it'll never be as big as Rockstars golden goose GTA. But a couple years down the line on the new generation consoles, i don't think it'll be half bad. The main lobbies will empty if Rockstar gives us private lobbies, that's for sure lol

But I'm addicted to making more MUNEH and gold, and owning any ol crap they throw at us lol. Crews can be dodgy to be part of though, it's not so much the griefers, it's as you said, they'll always be there. But i was part of a posse back in RDR1 online and had my PS3 bricked by a so called team mate, who managed to hack into my device just because we fell out. Could never prove it though, so since then i use a VPN and closed my friend invites, and made everything private for me only. Not worth the risk imo. I've read a few comments that this crew has had it's toxic moment though, but then again there'll always be some lil peckerneck that'll grief and not like being shot for it, so run to his buddies squealing for revenge lol
