@@SpiderBenPlays seriously, its just a word! i am aware slave has a lot of weight behind it, but they need to grow up (not referring to you)! there is a lot of bad things in the world, but that doesn't mean the usage of said words (even in the context of a name) needs to be restricted. hell, the weight is what MAKES it such a cool name for such badass bounty hunters! its beautifully simple (SLave-1), but still holds a bit of gravity. hell, he is a bounty hunter! he "enslaves" people on the daily! he captures people against their will (good or evil) and turns them over to a client who could ALSO be good or evil.

Tbf when they were making that game George Lucas decided to stop by and tell them MAKE IT ABOUT BOBA FETT DURRRRR and the developers had to completely redo the main character and rework the story into a boba Fett game and this probably made they're work even more of a pain in the ass and eventually Disney came along and canned it so George Lucas can't get off easy he's definitely part of the blame as well whenever it comes to this game not coming out and being stuck in development hell

Absolutely. Look at the Spider-Man movie tie-in game that came out the same year. There were codes to play as any other character in the game - most were just a remodel of Spidey which was fine, however the Green Goblin got his own moveset, animations, glider and storyline!

The name of The Slave I has never changed. LEGO decided to put the name "Boba Fett's Starship" because they thought it would be more recognizable to kids and parents, LEGO does not decide the canonicity of the Star Wars universe. In the Book of Boba Fett, Boba refers to his ship as "Firespray" because in the context of the scene in which they are retrieving his ship, it logically wouldn't make sense for him to tell someone who has no idea what his ship is or looks like that he's looking for his "Slave I". That wouldn't mean anything, if I told you I was looking for my Brad, and Brad was the name of my car, you would have absolutely no idea what the car was. Boba uses "Firespray" because it is the type of ship, something that Fennic is familiar with and able to recognize while they try to find/get it. Hope that helps.

I think the dificulty was because, back then, has kids, we sucked. I replayed this game in 2021, on the PS4 (Yes, this game is already available there, its a direct port tho) and got done with it in the same day. Not the easiest game ever, but not has bad has i remembered. I also remember struggling alot in the prision level, and never got past the final boss there, but replaying it, proved me that i was just really bad lol.

Personally, the difficulty of the game is part of what makes it great for repeated playing for me. I even try to make a habit of completing levels without losing one life. I'm glad they're not gonna do any major reworks with it, 'cause a lot of the "faults" it has, particularly how the enemies are programmed and you cann literally move them across the map slyly w/o them noticing, are part of what make it so enjoyable for me

I loved this game when I was 8 and played it on GameCube. There’s no way it could’ve have been that hard since I beat it back then. I do remember some challenging parts though. Hey pal. Don't be discouraged about the game's difficulty. The author of this video just blew things out of proportion. There's some challenging parts but that's pretty normal for an early 2000's game. It's nothing that a 6 year old version of yourself couldn't handle. I recommend you try whatever version of it you want, if you haven't already (though I strongly suggest a non-aspyr version), and go at it blind. If you run into any hiccups, check out a guide or walkthrough online. You won't regret it!

@@AguyR1401 Dude, I played the game when I was a kid, and the difficulty was a nightmare. Some of the later levels have infinitely respawning Bando Gora, and enemies with blasters that can stun-lock you from across the map. Having limited lives in the original was always a stupid idea, as was having a limited amount of health pickups on the map.

@@Aurik-Kal-Durin The Bando Gora respawn, yeah, but they act as environmental hazards more so than actual enemies. I'm sure you realized how easy they are to kill when using flamethrower. They respawn on a 10 or 15 second basis, which buys you time to continue platforming. Also, their pathing is often restricted to the zones that they spawn into, and so they'll get stuck/get left behind when you reach the next part of the mission. The ranged enemies you are referring to are either the rocket launcher users or the blowdart-using Bando Gora. Nothing out of the ordinary here. You simply need to prioritize them over the riff raff, or else you might get tumbled and pinned to the ground by more ranged attacks, which probably involves using the sniper rifle or poison dart or some kind of projectile while in free-aim mode. The game has so many tools and mechanics that these latter missions are meant to test your game knowledge as a whole. I've definitely lost all my lives in many of the levels, especially as a kid. But it's a fair challenge, and even back then I could muster the courage to play a mission from scratch for the 4th or 5th time in a row (as an adult, however, the game is a breeze). Games just played differently back then. It doesn't hold your hand and having limited lives per mission is to add pressure on the player and make him play intelligently.

Let those bodies not despawn so we can tag them. Also make if we can move while in bounty pov so we’re not vulnerable

The game isn't broken... like, at all. It plays like how a console game should. It has its quirks and the charm of any good title from that era. Inverted camera controls were the norm at the time, and all great games from that era used it. You get used to it, but it shouldn't be much of an issue though, considering the game's dependency on lock-on aim. And God forbid a game be difficult. No, the Prison chapter is far from unfair. It's a step up from the previous chapters and that's it. You may fail to beat it and have to learn from your mistakes when you try it again. Judging by your gameplay footage, you're not firing your blasters fast enough. You can spam the shoot key with your thumb as quickly as you want, and the rate of fire on your pistols will obey you as such. Reducing the time it takes to kill the hordes you fight against will naturally make the game easier. "Unplayable", like dude c'mon, it's not rocket science. Big L there. I'm getting the sense that you didn't play the game ever, until recently. And when you did finally come around to play it, you tried to rush a playthrough in order to make this video. The game doesn't play itself, I'm afraid. I have my suspicions that you didn't even finish it. Also, Classic Collection is still a hot mess, regardless of what you said. Myself and others who regularly play the OG swbf2 version all wanted to migrate to the new version but Aspyr appears to be done with their post-launch updates despite their version still needing lots of patches. It's truly, and still, "unplayable". I don't mean to be nasty but this video is misleading and poorly informed. Hopefully nobody buys Aspyr's CC, or gets deterred from ever playing the original copy of Bounty Hunter, after watching this.

Aspyr is a very irresponsible company. Their remaster of SW Racer was very sloppy and worse than the original 1999 release. Some graphic textures were completely missing especially on the engine thrust flames on many podracers. Only a blank dark texture was left on the flame that is coming out of the engines. On top of that the controls were sometimes either too clunky or way too responsive and couldn't be customised by the player. The Sega Dreamcast port is still the supreme version of the game.

Yes, the port is still quite playable. What's frustrating is that a remaster shouldn't have flaws that the were never even present on the original release. These booster thrust graphic textures were absent on the engines of Bozzie Baranta and Dud Bolt at least. Just a "dark flame" remaining. Anakin's engines also had this strange effect where the texture on the polygon model of the turbine spikes themselves would "light up" during boosting, instead of the engine turbine surrounding the spike. In the 1999 release this effect is absent as the lighting effect is the actual boost flame exiting the turbine, that was surrounding the thruster spike, not vice versa. Its just very strange and I wonder how it turned up that way.

They should add a small upgrade system to get Longer Flight, Recharge ability to picked up weapons, more darts and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD a freaking POWER UPGRADE for the dual pistols, it was by far the worst aspect and the main reason it was so difficult. Your main dual pistols are too weak even in the first levels. A low level enemy would go with 5 or 7 shots if i remember correctly and by the time you face the zombies at the end it was almost impossible. It was cool having to run away and hide but your fingers would hurt by the end either way.

Aspyr did horrible on the classic collection and only fixed it because of backlash. The fact that they lied about not using mods when they did is also scummy

It hasn't been fixed. Problems are still present in online stability. It is also not mod friendly. Swbf2 '05 has a huge library of mods that have been made over the years and they are rarely, if ever, compatible with CC, which includes the high-def re-skins and re-texture mods that are otherwise compatible with the OG version's multiplayer.
