Now 53 years old and you new girls are bad 👏🏾👏🏾when it comes to the wigs you .got it going on. If I can Master this like I did the weave. I will be in. I learn how to weave my own hair. In the 90s with a book that I got from my local library. And I got very good at it. This is way before KZbin. My hat's off to you girl. If you were a weave or a wig in the '80s or 90s. They will talk about you. I'm glad you made it a fashion statement. I wish we were been doing this back then. I like ain't no shame and wearing a wig or a weave now. I hope I get just as good as y'all are one day. 🙆🏽‍♀️😍

@@deborahparker9787 girl I'm trying I got good hair weave. I taught myself. Went to the library in Lansing.. that was all the way back in 96. Before the internet. Why was self-taught I wish I could have learned from KZbin. After paying almost $600 to get my hair wig. I knew I had to learn it on my own. And I guess so good at it. People to lie. It was my hair. But I'm going to get good at making these wigs also. But these new young girl they bad at it. We just had a stigma on wearing wigs back in the day. I'm glad that the young man. not making fun of them from wearing them. It's a fashion statement now. Who would ever thought a pink wig. Would be fashion. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣🤣

I'm 38 and I was actually shocked when wigs started becoming a thing. I remember thinking to myself I'm not wearing a wig like my momma and auntie. Lol. It really was a stigma on wearing them. Especially if you were young. I thought it was going to just be a trend and fast forward over what 10/12 years if not more and wigs are the thing still. I finally gave in to wearing them about 4 years ago.

Yes wearing wigs or weaves was so taboo. Even men are making wig videos for male hair issues. We come a long way.😊
