I've actually been contemplating using a Frisk Dusclops with Skill Swap for messing up the opponent's team. The team it's on doesn't really benefit from hiding their held item either.

I really like skill swap, I used skill swap Gallade w/ bulk-up Ceruledge and Kingambit for the ruleset they added Home support. I ended up swapping abilities with my opponents much more often than my own pokemon though, which was interesting. Swapping Cresselia, Ursaluna, and H-Goodra's abilities did actually help me win quite a few games, I really enjoyed that team and it made me appreciate Ceruledge and Gallade more than before

is that a huge slowking or a tiny snorlax?
@itsnick373 ай бұрын
Nope Slowking is almost the same height as Snorlax, but they should make Snorlax heavier. Edit: also forgot Slowking hat makes him taller if you count that 😂

I've been trying to find a good Water to use in Reg H and while Slowking won't be doing a ton of damage, it works good for the team I'm building. Right now I've just been using a lot of Gyarados.
@RTG_YTC3 ай бұрын
There are plenty of good water types to use for Reg H, depending on what you want. Water Tauros can function like a budget Urshifu and deny screens with Raging Bull. Politoed can be a rain setter without that nasty x4 electric weakness that Pelipper is plagued with. Milotic is a great special attacker and with Competitive denies Incineroar the right to exist. Empoleon also denies Incin, but has the added bonus of being resistant to dragon, fairy, and steel as well as being quite handy with an assault vest. Alomomola can tank hits for days and provide Wide Guard support if needed. Greninja starts off as a water type but can be any type it chooses with Protean. Bruxish denies priority and pairs well with partners like Coalossoal and Ceruledge. Basculegion is one of the best revenge sweepers with Last Respects and can easily change the game in your favor. And of course Palafin needs no explanation. You have options, my guy.

Why wasn't Torterra affected by Golem's Explosion?
@campsb31863 ай бұрын
I have the same doubt😅
@AmazingAmpharos3 ай бұрын
Golem-A has the Galvanize ability which is the electric equivalent of Sylveon's Pixiliate: it powers up all normal moves and makes them hit electric. Torterra is a ground type and is thus immune. One of that team's sort of mindgames is whether the Golem-A is Galvanize or Sturdy, but tbh I think it would be pretty hard to justify Sturdy (you'd prefer Focus Sash Galvanize over Choice Band Sturdy; it's stronger).

Wouldnt ursaluna with Guts and Fire Orb not outperform snorlax?
@pketr53 ай бұрын
My guess: Snorlax is more resilient. Way less Defence but way more HP and Sp. Def. No STAB on high horsepower doesn't matter if you have maximized attack. Flame Orb Ursaluna is constantly taking damage, can't hold a berry and has more weaknesses.
@jamesaditya52543 ай бұрын
@@pketr5 another consideration is having higher innate spdef just synergizes well if you have an intimidate user, so you can be tanky on both sides of the spectrum. Also if it's not clear by the intro I think this is just a fun test drive to see how well snorlax would perform in reg h, ursaluna had plenty of fun already
@skimaskedabi3 ай бұрын
Its a little less predictable, ursaluna requires a lot of correct reads to use right, as per james himself. Although belly drum lax itself is pretty predictable too imo

I just lost to this. Took away my Dondozo's unaware. I thought I was ok because Snorlax was tera Grass and I had avalanche. I was under trick room so I was moving last anyway. No I couldn't one shot it. Now I know to just kill the Slowking.

Bro if you leave out an Amoonguss check on your team you will most definitely get ran over by one lmfao
@OscarBreath3 ай бұрын
@Chwarzerd Yeah but I'm an expert. I play ranked everyday. Always ranking well. I only see amoongus in every 1 out of every 12 matches or so. That's not a lot, meaning you would only lose 1 game out of 12 because of amoongus. But regardless, Any pokemon can take out amoongus. You don't need to prepare for it. Just take control of the speed (tailwind/trickroom), and attack it with ice, fire, flying. Whatever. The worst possible outcome is that it has a focus sash. In which it will spore you. Oh well. You might be asleep for 1 or 2. Rarely 3 turns. Big whoop. I'll take my trick room ice calyrex all day over a team built to only fight amoongus
