The goal of this Wild Hearthstone Murder at Castle Nathria Deathrattle Druid OTK combo deck is to use Death Blossom Whomper combined with Deathwing Dragonlord! We do this by playing Death Blossom Whomper to gain the Deathwing Dragonlord deathrattle. Then, we destroy it to summon a board full of HUGE dragons! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

I think what we're learning is that 40 cards doesn't hurt consistency as much in wild because there are more powerful cards to include.

The problem I have with 40 card decks is the asymmetric player experience. The person with 40 cards sees less consistency game over game, but the opponent (me) just sees the person play the perfect card every turn anyway. You have to go out of your way to notice that priest that did nothing all game probably had a terrible hand, because of having 40 cards, which is why they did nothing in the first place.

Classes with good draw and or ramp have less consistency problems with 40 card decks. My druid and lock 40 card decks are very consistent.

That's a lot of greed. The payoff for one is intended to be a full board of dragons that either kills the opponent or has enough health to hang around. Hard to imagine being able/needing to do that more than once, but even if you did, it's much easier to use the deathwing on board for the second trigger

@@BradGreer the point is, when the deathrattle triggers your hand will be empty, the 2nd proc will be wasted, you get a breather to set up again and draw some cards

This 40 card deck opponent draws are same energy as having perfect curve or answers with highlander deck. And the worst thing, they can be 40 card AND highlander at the same time and get perfect hand and draws

I experimented this MANY times. Theorically playing Rena decks should make your deck more inconsistent but mostly I just see very good curves and all answers needed in time. I even faced pirate warriors with quest, Rena, Cthun and even Brawl. Like seriously. Funny thing, they still dominated.

@@saltkeeper44 The issue is that players often run board clears that can handle every wave of 1/1’s, even with Snowfall Graveyard. Once you hit mid-Platinum and above, there’s tons of Shaman players who have Devolves, Maelstrom Portal, Lightning Storm, and sometimes even run Zephyr for perfect answers. Now when I say there’s tons of them I mean it. I was running Dane’s Kobold Illusionist deck (with Neptulon and Ragnaros) and went against 20 Shamans in 30 games, 6-7 Shamans back-to-back. It was brutal because I lost every single match due to their ability to clear all the summons.
