I somehow saw a huge mountain size image os shiva itself @ keadarnath uttrakhand ..exactly behind the temple... Firstly i took it as of a mirrage.. Then i rubbed my eyes that i am not hallucinating... Still i saw that image laughing on what i was doing ,as i was very confused.. It happend at midnight 0010 to 0045.. I told my partner can u see.? Lingam is like a concious being, except it is not a being. Lingam are constructed to capture the pure form of consciousness, as they are not living beings and can't get affect by senses, they remain unpolluted by greed, lust etc. So people used to construct them for that purpose and meditate sitting around it to get access to the pure form of consciousness. We often see cobras around Lingams and that proves they are conscious as cobras have the capability to sense any conscious thing and they like to surround it.

Shiva purana described longodhbava story like this : a huge tall fire pillar without beginning or ending appeared and an enchanting person came from that, people gathered there to see him , they expected that he will do some magic or teach something to them, but he sat silently, people waited, tired. But he sat silent, he sat there without movement many days without taking food, even breath. Only sign to say he was alive is tears coming from his eyes, he is in paramannada state. People slowly started ignoring him, left him with disappointmemt. But a group of 7 people waited there, waited there, waited there.. One day he opened his eyes and walked to a banyan tree and sat there, he teached knowledge (of athma, of mind, of body, of universe, techniques of meditation and yoga, ashta siddis) to Sapta rishis in the form of dakshina Murthy silently without talking and later advised them to share this knowlege all over the world. This was happened at thiruvannamali (Arunachalam) Aruna means red, arunchala Kshetra mahatyam mentions that longodhbava happened there, that arunchalal hill was burned for many thousand years with red light emitting. That's why it was called as Red hill (Aruna chalam) . Even now people say the Shiva linga of Arunachalam temple emits heat from it.

I also feel that the earth has primarily been male dominated even though the ancients gave equal if not more importance to the Shakti (female) energy. The male of our species has always been phallic obsessed and has looked upon the phallus as the source of creative energy ( conveniently (?) ignoring the contribution of the female energy in creation). I feel this obsession led to consciously depicting the phallic energy anywhere and everywhere to keep bombarding the human mind with these images so that it is kind of etched permanently in the human conscious. Do extra terrestrial beings have the same sexual differentiations? Or is it again a human interpretation? If Shiva was extra terrestrial and actually looked different, perhaps the human mind symbolised this supernatural power as male power, a more easily acceptable concept perhaps. Just as an addition to this- In india it is considered that Shivji gave our ancestors alot of advanced sciences, for eg, 1 of his many names is "ADIYOGI" which means *the ancient yogi* , Similarly, *Ayurveda* and many more things, but this doesn't end here with just mere downfall of knowledge to the human race, The most famous thing about Shivji is that he is an extraordinarily kind god, there are innumerable Puranic stories about how so many Rakhasas (cannibal demons) were able to delight him with there penance and he gave them any boon they wanted only later to realise how big a fault was that (once he bestowed upon a demon the power to kill him, by him i mean Shiva, guess what, he did try). You did mention "Thennadudaya Sivane Pottri" the other sentence is "Yennattavarkum Iraivaa pottri" meaning God for all nations. Yennattavarkum is split as Yen-Nattavar-kum. Nattavar is plural. Naadu is nation. Interestingly in tamil language Naadu is also referred to as seeking. And so the meaning for last sentence is Those who seek, the God is Shiva. Santana dharma exists because it allows you to ask questions. Santana dharma followers are called as seekers. Seekers of knowledge.

Praveen, Thanks for your video. As a South Indian we worship Shiva and Vishu mostly. Apart from religious talks we belong to Sanatana Dharma (Spirituality is our way of life) meaning everything we do is related to science as we lost our ancestors Knowledge most of the practice is been criticised as superstitious. The prefix " Thiru " has been tagged for most of the places in South India for a reason like Thiru Mayam, Thiru annamalai, Thiruparamkundram , Thiruvananthapuram etc., You are amazing everything from a neutral point of view without hurting any one, keep up the good work. Here is my theory: if you want to travel in deep space without getting affected by the hard space radiations, you need to have a thick layer around your space craft to protect you. The propulsion system should be more advanced that what we have now and It should travel at light speeds and may be travel through space portals. Now looking at this, what if it was an advanced space craft with one operator who travelled through space and landed here on earth? Or people got inspired by a spacecraft and made one to worship the guy who happens to be Shiva?
