@PROOFWallets2 ай бұрын
@@reeb9016 That is something we will certainly consider. We haven't had many people hit on that to be honest. It would require alterations to the core design to do it, so to be totally transparent we'd be waiting to hear that complaint from a large enough audience to justify such an overhaul to design. Entirely new, but aesthetically similar renditions of this wallet are definitely in our sights though. Those renditions are likely what would incorporate some of the lesser requested modifications we do receive.

@@PROOFWalletsMagSafe/magnetic, better/more money holding options and/or enclosing the sides so you could store money and protect the cards better. Just a couple ideas that would make me buy this right now for sure. No one else is doing anything like that and it’s keeping me from replacing my current wallet/s lol. Oh and maybe an Id holder on the front or even an option for non rfi so I can scan my badge/cards without taking them out.

No way for that price point. If it was full grain leather and hand stitched, maybe. Even then $125 is steep for elastic, aluminum and not a top of the line leather. A lot of people would have to get replacements, over and over, to have the warranty justify the price. Great review Chris!

There are so many better functioning wallets than 2 metal plates wrapped in leather and elastic. Secrid, ekster, pul pularys, type wallets are 1000x better than this thing. It is nice looking tho.

Good review...very informative. Having spent just four months short of 31 years wearing a USAF uniform, I am inclined to buy American; I support veterans causes and I support companies that support veterans. Therefore, I took delivery of my Proof wallet just a little over two weeks back. The wallet is comfortably compact in my pocket, it is solidly made and, while I will never have anywhere near 25 cards to stuff into it, the Proof wallet does easily hold the eight to nine cards that I do carry. I am not thrilled having to double fold my cash, but I knew that was part of the package before I bought the wallet. Well done.

Exposed cash on the outside is no big deal for me. Many of my wallets (I have 32) have exposed cash carrying systems. It is part of the gig with these types of wallets. When in doubt, leave a $1 bill on the outside. Just need those beveled edges on any version offered. I would like to see better leather and burnished edges at this price point though. But I think the design is spot on and the color combination is great looking.

According to 2024 data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 20.4% of businesses fail in their first year after opening, 49.4% fail in their first 5 years, and 65.3% fail in their first 10 years. I guess that's one reason folks roll the dice and don't expect any support and therefore to pay not much more than $20.00 for a 'Ridge' or 'Dango' copy from AliEx, but it may be something worth considering with respect to a lifetime warranty from a newly established company in the USA.
@KRich4082 ай бұрын
Proof your exposed $$ might get you unalived when someone wants it more than you. As I already mentioned in the short video about the warranty, unless they will replace the contents also if it you loose it because someone gave you a choice you couldn't refuse. I don't care for a wallet that advertised how much $$ i have each time i need to get something out of it.
@ChrispyThings2 ай бұрын
I guess it all depends on where you live. There are places where you’d need to worry about exposing your cash surely but…how else are you going to pay for something without exposing your cash??? Plus you might as well take off your shoes, hide your jewelry, don’t show your phone, and walk to the store in fear of letting some criminal know what type of car you have. All of this is living in fear and I choose not to participate. Believe in the 2A and carry whatever the f you want.

I don't own fakes, but I can certainly understand why people would buy fakes, especially now that prices are rising and there are more and more quality issues with authentic bags. When my patience runs out, I will also go to kislux to shop what I like bag.

For me, it's impossible to buy all the originals I want. I can buy as many replicas of kislux as I want. If the craftsmanship is really good, why wouldn't I want Chanel and Kelly bags in all colors?
@AnbuMoraleАй бұрын
Why would someone who has been buying from the brand for years or even decades suddenly have to pay 50-60% more for the exact same item? Inflation cannot justify this. It's like the brand is deceiving the consumer. On kislux , the bags sold are priced lower but of higher quality, so you might as well go there.

When I first "got into" luxury handbags, I purposely bought a kislux . I wasn't trying to show off, brag, or pass it off as genuine, I just wanted to see if it fit my requirements and how it would sit with me before I spent money on the real thing (without the SA staring at you). Turns out, it didn't fit me. I saved a ton of money and time on returns. It made me very happy. It fit me perfectly.

This is so sad because we know LV canvas gets thinner over time but Goyardâs canvas is literally paper thin. Most of their bags are leather lined but for me a big reason to own a coated canvas kislux bag is that it is lightweight and indestructible

If you have to go through so much trouble to tell a fake is a fake, then I don't understand why you would make such a fuss about buying the real thing. I would happily buy a fake kislux and have no shame in admitting it is a fake

The kislux looks still good and 1/10 the price of real one. So many people will choose fake. Since during u walk in mall or on the street no1 will stop u and check ur bag from 5cm distance to see these differences. These differences are mostly impossible to see from more than 1-2m away. And be honest. 95% of these people buy these stuffs only to pretend fancy,rich during a walk

That walletopia video you're referencing is honestly straight up slander. That absolutely can not happen without maliciously trying to destroy it. They admitted it was not sent that way, but claim it occurred during use. We did an entire stress test on this to include maxing out the straps breaking point as well as a fatigue test showing ~79,000 repetitions of stretching and un-stretching strap like you'd encounter while using our wallet, documenting everything. It simply does not and will not happen without intentionally trying to pull the elastic apart with ridiculous force until it nearly snaps. We'll be posting a video today showing this entire stress test.
