I tried Therions after watching your older Therion videos and absolutely fell in love with the deck, so much fun! The only problem is that if you can’t get a Therion in the gy you are totally screwed, but I’ll have to give Scheiren and Mothman a go in my deck they seem like big consistency boosters

I've tried Therion Tear in TCG, it's not bad, even when I was missing some of the pricier cards. Therion is cool but really inconsistent bc it needs things in the graveyard or it's GGs

Yh Therion feel extremely awkward when you play it on it own because it need to a set up first in order to do anything. Which is why it found it place perfectly in other deck like Punk and stuff

@@saicharanmandadi8531 it's possible since most people don't run battle trap (battle fader, etc.) Earth machine is notoriously known for blind second OTK deck, so you can do pretty much with it. Just bring kaiju for purrely Also you can combine it with magical hound to make naturia beast and baron. Vernusylph engine could also ensure you going without normal summon

Very cool deck, but the best deck of this format is (for some reason) Crusadia/Kaiju. Purrely/ Kash have a horrible Kaiju matchup, and their grind game means nothing when they get OTK'd. I thought I'd try it as a joke and am on my longest win streak ever. Spread the word

Every Kaiju build is insane this format. I might shove some Therions into my old Kaiju Striker Tearlaments build just to give myself extra toys to play with. Setting up Gameciel Control with a Rulkallos up is just brutal, though it can be tricky to pull off sometimes.

Those aren't really floodgates though, they're handtraps that either prevent your opponent from doing one thing and one thing only (Ash preventing a card from being removed from the deck, while Droll prevents both players from adding cards from the deck to their hand) or putting pressure on the opponent (Maxx C drawing you cards for every special summon from the opponent). Real floodgates are cards like Skill Drain and There Can Be Only One, which when flipped, can completely shut down many decks.

@@christianwright7581 bro, Droll and maxx C are floodgates. Floodgates are defined as any cards which remove or restrict access to entire aspects of the game to one or both players. They're even the worst version of a floodgate, a lingering effect, meaning they apply for a period of time after effect resolution, independently of whatever happens after. Now I guess I should explain why both cards fall under the definition of a floodgate. Droll, much like coossus, denies access to a fundamental aspect of gameplay, in this case searches and card draw, locking the opponent into only the cards currently at their disposal. Classic example of a floodgate. The confusion with Maxx C is more understandable, since it provides the illusion of choice. Unlike other floodgates, it doesn't literally remove the ability to special summon. However, in pactice it does exactly that. It might as well say "choose one: it becomes the end phase or you lose the duel". for most decks it's a turnskip. That's as floodgatey as it gets.

Therions is actually a good deck. But it bricked a lot in a pure version and a single Dimensional Fissure killed it. And their main deck cards which have a lot of URs in MD is not helping.
