Watching Carlo in that narrow little space gave me chills...and then he struggles up and down 50 million steps with the cannisters. What an amazing partner you have in Carlo. Good timing about the leak. But carlo going down into that tight area was terrifying but then when he had to bring those canisters up the steps and then down with that machine that was even more terrifying than that shed space had to shimmy down. It's extremely difficult to live in your home in Positano. The tourists only see the sea and the beach. It was the smartest and most appropriate decision both of you made to buy that lovely home in Tuscany. I like Tuscany better than Positano especially your home, your land and even the surrounding area.😊

As an apartment manager, I feel your pain. Dealing with pipes in walls (in your case, in cliff sides) is always a hassle. Corroded shut off valves, broken pipes, disconnected joints... it's all such a hassle. It's wonderful that Carlo is so good at this and knows how to fix these things. Calling a professional to diagnose and fix is so expensive. I imagine even more so where you guys are at.

My goodness what an adventure you had! It was a good thing you went to Positano when you did! I know how Carlos feels when logging all the empty gas canisters up all of those steps, and afraid of the day when he longer can! I’m currently a carer, but retiring in a months time, because my stamina and body is telling me I no longer can do twelve hour shifts! I currently work 2 1/2 days a week and I’m struggling with that! On a happier note, your rose was gorgeous and I can just imagine the scent! Thank you for taking us on your adventure, thoroughly enjoyed it, especially all the bleeps, made my day! Would’ve done the same thing! lol!

I had that exact problem but mine was underground! We went through 4 plumbers and finally a friend found the leak. Over the years, soil built up and covered it and probably helped cause the rust. Well done Carlo!

Handling the gas canisters is a major project! The first time I visited Praiano, we were invited to dinner at the boyfriend's cousins' home below the road. As cooking went along, there was a pause while a new tank was brought in. I was a bit surprised because it had not occurred to me that gas was not piped. It does make sense though! So glad you were home to discover the water problem!

Glad you caught the problem with the leak before it became a major problem! I’m watching with my Dad as we always watch your videos together. He’s really concerned about your safety with the water heater flame being in the same enclosed space as the gas canisters. Dad is nearly 80 and has always been pretty fast and loose with his renovations but he is genuinely worried about that setup from a safety perspective.

The amount of sweat equity that is required to live on the mountain side in Positano. It’s obviously significant. I congratulate Carlo for being able to deal with the challenges of living Positano. Growing up with it makes it easier. I think it would be extremely difficult for a foreigner like me to deal With gathering the gas canisters.
