Get you some red lights, and blue lights, they cut down on the distance from which they can be seen, while still giving you enough light to function. I am a former Sailor with the US Navy and when we had what was called darken ship these where the only light we could use to do our job with on the flight deck, with no Moon or light from the ship, however even with the absent of the moon, and the lights of the ship fully darkened as to not allow any light out of below decks, the milky-way still illuminated the deck quite well once your eyes adjusted. One of the most beautiful sites I have ever witnessed is the milky-way at this time, nothing even comes close to the majesty and beauty from the billions of stars that can only be seen in this low to no-light environment. I used to crawl out on to the safety nets off the ship and layback like a hammock for hours starting out into the universe. Such peace and contentment I have yet to experience on land.

Just caught up after binging for several days. What an absolutely great channel. I'm not into sailing but I love the DIY aspect of the repairs of Parlay. And thank you for showing the best side of my native country of Panama. You've shown me areas that I definitely want to visit next time I go.

Colin I’ve watched numerous saling videos from my landlocked section of New York State USA with king and zeal have enjoyed many but none have brought the pure joy that your channel has your upbeat love of what you do puts a smile on my face. I’m disabled at forty eight from mental health issue stemming from childhood trauma so happiness required some work for me except when I watch parlay revival thanks man from my marrow you don’t know what !!! Cheers mate

I seen you on Below Deck and then when you popped up in my feed for fixing this boat I started watching. I'm on Episode 112 and I was just telling my wife that they didn't attach the bulkheads very well. I can say that your glass work is so much better than when you first started. I'm starting to feel like I could fix a boat! ha

I loved this episode, hearing how your plan to build changed, was interesting. Life does that to you, but if you live without regrets then the world is open to you. My favourite shot was that moment of calm after the surfing video, it brought everything together.

Life can definitely throw a bit of a curve ball at you at times. I certainly agree with your opening statement of not putting off something that you may later regret in life but at the same time you have to appreciate that sometimes those sorts of choices are actually taken away from some people !. Years ago I was just about to embark on a New Work career as a Crane Driver in Saudi Arabia but then my ex wife decided to walk out on our Children ( we were Divorced ), so I had to give up my Dreams and Career and my Partner at the time as well as move away from my home village to Care for my then 4 Children, two of my Sons are Disabled with Autism so everything had to be about them ( As it should ). It was a very hard couple of years for my boys and me but nowadays they are all in a good place mentally and physically ( some bad stuff was being done by my ex ) which meant that my Boys needed counselling etc. Would I have changed anything like giving up work and moving away from my Home town and looking after my Family ? No,I’d do it again if I had to. I would have regretted not giving up everything !!. It’s lovely watching you enjoying your life and the sorts of things you all get up to and Yeah you do think to yourself ? If Only ?. But life is ok and at least I know my kids ( now adults ) are safe and getting better treatment with me than if their Mother had anything to do with them ( she isn’t allowed any contact ). People actually stop me in the Streets and are amazed with how well my kids are doing now,she has been stopped in the Streets and told the best thing she ever did was walking out on her kids !!. She has been disowned by her Family and Friends from that time, strangely enough I do feel Sorry for her but at the same time I don’t like her ?. Yeah so if you have the luxury of being able to do what you want in life then go for it because regret later in life can be pretty painful but when you make decisions on your life you have to think about how your decision is going to affect those around you….Family and Friends etc. Regret is a two way street, you don’t want to regret not doing something but you also don’t want to end up regretting something that you did either, so think about it !. I’m not one of life’s miserable people Lol 😂 I always tend to think of " Always look on the bright side of life " and yeah I might be a bit envious of some people’s lifestyle and life but I would never be Nasty about their choices ( I’ve seen some of the envious nasty comments and I just don’t understand why ? ). Love the Videos ❤

I would think the dogs would know when a stranger was getting near or trying to board the boat at night, their protective sense would kick in. Two dogs growling and barking should be a good alarm! And, no one likes a dog bite. Great episode, was hoping it was longer.

As a Realtor my first thoughts are sell it to the owners of the house on the adjoining property. The private property sign at the neighbors throws up a red flag they won't be overjoyed to the idea of neighbors and could negatively impact/scare off prospective buyers. Been There Done That

Hey Jordan. Nice to know you're still on the sunny side of the turf. I love the video Colin. I'm still working on my boat to get it refit and ready to sail as I was inspired by your bit of advise. 20 years from now you will regret the things you didn't do more than the things you did, so what are you waiting for? I'm done waiting and I'm doing instead.
