Bulgaria definitely carried its own weight in WW1, and this is coming from someone from a completely unrelated country. And yeah, obviously, Japan was perhaps the only country in WW 2 who were as good as, or more impressive than Germany, considering military success when factoring in resource. Yeah the combined industry, manpower and sheer landmass of the major allied powers made it pretty impossible to win, and thank everyone for that, but you can't fault them from a military standpoint.
