Ya except the Nazis didn't torture. The starvation from the camps was because allied bombing raids had reduced Germany and Poland to ruins. Destroyed their train tracks roads etc and farms not to mention no foreign aid was coming in. They needed all the food for the soldiers and cities because Germany was starving and a lack of medicine and assigning teenage boys to gaurd the camps caused disorganization and a cleanliness issue and so a large typhus epidemic broke out amounts the prisoners and guards (this was why heads were shaved and zyklon was used to stop this. In the end the camps were basically abandoned to 14-16 year old children with no supplies. And the allies never found a d-camp only the trusty soviets did. Really look into this yourself. I'm Japanese, and most of my knowledge about Japan's war crimes is from English sources. Because less than 10% of the population is multilingual, Japan is getting away with its censoring. I got bullied when I pointed out some stuff my history teacher was missing and was accused of lying when my classmates couldn't find any Japanese sources. I'm so glad you've brought this up on your platform, I'm tired of people ignoring our war crimes and lack of accountability.

Let me ask you a question. All of the allies flew reconnaissance missions and took aerial photos of Germany, Austria etc. How is it that during the entire war, and the thousands of reconnaissance missions, not one person reported major camps housing thousands of people? How is it, that it wasn’t until the end of the war, after surrender, the allied forces mysteriously found millions of people killed or incarcerated? No one asks the victor if they told the truth.
@knightblade0188
@knightblade0188 4 ай бұрын
Because they did know to an extent about the camps. The allied leadership had an idea of what was going on not everything but enough to know Germany was doing something horrible. It was on the lower levels that the Allies were unaware as nothing could be done at that point in the war. No one has to ask if the victors lied because the losers and neutral nations documented it.

My great grandpa fought in world war 1 at 16 after lying about his age, and then fought in world war 2 in the navy. In the battle of Java, he was killed, but just recently we found out he may have been a Japanese POW… felt really bad for my grandma hearing about that since she was just a baby at the time.

Japan is way more conservative than Germany. Their history education focus on Pacific war instead of the horrible stuff they did in Asia. Not only Japan, most of the countries outside of Asia don’t give a s**t about Asia during WW2 due to lack of the influence or political opposition. I don’t think you will see any official apology from Japanese government.

@@SwarmerGaming yeah, you're completely right. But imagine if the Germans never even knew they committed those atrocities in the first place. It's not that they're culpable, after all what son is guilty of the fathers sins? Its the fact they never even knew they did wrong at all. So all the terrible things their empire did has never even been brought to light or justice, they never buried the truth just swept it under the rug. That's why half of Asia hates the Japanese so strongly.
