When the weather is rainy, the bottom wall of the house gets wet and therefore the inside of the house is damp. Therefore, the house needs to be built on small legs so that it is 2 - 3 centimeters from the ground.

There are some holes in the older cat house at 7:47 that are fairly large. Can you bring a small piece of wood and a few tacks to hammer it into the outside so the wind and rain can't seep in on a really wet and cold day for the little kittens please? I know the kennel position is such that the whole is facing the building but it can still bring in the weather. I love the way you are so thoughtful and bring new mattresses every day to replace the soiled ones so the kittens and mother cats are not lying in wee soaked mats for long.
