You already know how the game will go the moment you get into a game with crab based on your team. If it’s stall you’re dead, if it’s aggro depends on how early you roll tenacity, if it’s combo you’ll most likely have a hard time based on how well you and your opp rolls. Sayu/Eula with wgs is devastating though however when I was playing crab I matched into a pwjs Hu Tao which is rarely seen and I almost lost. I’d imagine the same case with Faru/Xiao with pwjs combo would also destory crab.

23:35 So Crab's burst carries to the next round, nice (they would've immediately be doomed after receiving Crab's burst if they didn't have resurrection). If i'm not mistaken counter skills like Beidou's also work similarly. Wonder if this applies to all types of follow-up attacks (including Neuvillette's normal, Electro Cube's 5-cost skill etc), haven't observed all of them yet. Being able to survive alone while getting frozen for 6 consecutive rounds is impressive too. Also satisfying beat drop at 23:37 xD

Yup, all prepare skills work that way There's a character status for prepare skills, which only vanishes if you switch off the character (overload, Jean/Sucrose, manual swap when frozen, etc)

At long as you don’t switch your character, any prep attack will continue onto the next round

for extra shield points from that point and each of the remaining rounds, also suppose they smash using Electro Hypostatis will be overloaded back to Thoma that has lotus so that my crab shield won't get hurt much and Thoma will surivive. That until Electro Hypostasis did two 5 cost skill 😂😂😂😂

If crab won't be able to build a decent shield for round 1 and 2 then GG. but suppose you manage to get a shield thicc enough, then once you swapped to crab, Ganyu won't damage you anymore. The sole counter of crab is WGS + Sayu

Hello, Crab automatically cancels the Shield status of your other characters, Including it's own artifact shield status. For each shield status that crab cancels, he gains 2 Carapace Carapace = Shield status through crab passive
