WTF how did I miss this one?!! If a chiming clock has wound down before finished striking it's hour when it's rewound or pendulum manually swung it will chime the hour it didn't finish despite where the hands are past the hour. I grew up with these clocks but old ones and have experienced them doing this many times even just with floorboards shifting on being walked past etc, is eerie though when it happens. I used to have a set of those little monks in s&p etc were so cute

We have a grandfather clock and grandmother clock and both sometimes go out of sink and chime wherever they want 😂 so it could be because it’s not been set recently and it’s now out of sink and doing it every now and then 😂 and they do go off every hour and half hour 💚 15:14

The hand on that clock, at the beginning of the video, was between the 4 and the 5. After it went off, that hand was between the 5 and the 6. So, it basically moved by an hour. 😊

Lmbo 😂 that’s not a flash drive, it’s an extension for charging the old way. (Oh personally, I’ve got loads of CDs, dvds [150k + movies] old film 🎞, and the old huge laser discs with working disc player from 1978 😂 but there is nothing better than the old vinyl records. I did have an 8 track player but I gave it to my brother and he wanted in his car 🤦‍♀️). This was a dream house to search through, you guys are lucky to see all the neat stuff in there, and those clocks were horrendous... oh and the laughs over the heat pulse message machine, you two crack me up. Lastly, the painting with the pub, looks like it was from across the pond with the cowboy either from Boston or NY? But looks like the owners were world travelers. 👍🍻

As for the clock chiming and it not being on the hour - maybe the hand was showing the wrong position but the clock was on the hour. plus clocks can sometimes chime every quarter hour.

The glass piece on the round table you called a trumpet is an Epergne, they were filled with sauces / condiments, and used on Victorian dining tables. The one you filmed is a single with a bowl and pedestal and the bowl would be filled with meats or crackers, all depends on the condiment used. I have a 3 Trumpet Epergne; I collect antique glass and can tell you that the Epergne you found could fetch 300 dollars easily. Stay safe guys.

Ardwick! Just down t'road from me. We used to do what you're doing in the 70s in the houses in Ardwick when they were doing the slum clearance. Some people left their whole lives behind in those houses to get demolished 😢

It's not a flash drive, it's an extension usb adapter. I used to have one some years back. Saved having lots of different cables for different gadgets, to transfer data. It wasn't very good though 😂

Hi Guys! This place was very active, and you were being followed the entire time. Lots of whispered sighs, "oh's", "no's", "go's", etc. Constant little whispers. Spirit wasn't happy that you were there. So, this week I heard: 1:16 "Gerrout (get out)!" Male whisper as Matt is looking at Andy and saying: " -- about it!". 1:41 "Gehtout...o'theeehah (get out...of there)!" Female whisper, "underneath" y'all arguing about countries. Two Spirits have told you to get out in the space of less than two minutes. That's pretty damned impressive! 1:50 "A - farm...house (a farm house)!" Same female as above, responding to your remark about "a bungalow". 6:17 "Slanderer!" The female again, Doing what I call "whisper-screaming", and she seems angry because y'all were disparaging her wine/cider. 9:34 "Shod - eee (shoddy}!" Same female, right smack after Andy says: "Rubbish!". 14:43 "Appalling!" Odd, scratchy whisper-scream "over" Matt's laughter after Andy says: " - bloody hell!". Not sure if Spirit is disgusted with your language, or the fact that Matt is laughing at Andy. 18:54 "LEAVE...them...alone!" Same female, upset because you are rifling through the box of photos. "Leave" is a whisper-scream; the words "them" and "alone" get quieter and quieter. 22:57 "Get out!" Again, the same woman whispering right after Matt says: " -- anyway.". 29:37 "Wrap them up!" Can't tell if this is male or female, but y'all are looking through the paintings, and Spirit wants you to stop. It's kind of "underneath" Matt saying: "I like that!". 36:50 "STOP!" Again, cannot tell if this is a male or a female, but this Spirit was standing right in front of you, Matt, and whisper-screamed in your face. It was between you and Andy, and apparently didn't like you joking about the decor in the house. 37:01 "Sorry." The female, apologizing for the state of her house after Matt says that the mold is "disgusting". Spirit sounds rather sad, too. 45:33 "HEY!" Another whisper-scream between you and Andy. Spirit is NOT HAPPY that you are making fun of his massager. 51:54 "I like that!" Male whisper just at your right arm, Matt, just after you mention "Cabaret". This house had a strange, unsettling vibe, and not just because of the odd taste in cinema, either. I don't know if a house can be "grey", but this one felt grey to me. Just kind of off. Perhaps Bear felt it, too, because he seemed awful restless. He was sticking pretty close to you guys for the most part. Anyhoo, thank you for taking us on a tour of this weird little home.
