Only piercing exploits mantis eye weakness. Salt and candy arrows don't do piercing damage, they do elemental only. So you can just aim for body with same results.

Just killed NG12 IBM using a fist build... It had very good DPS. The main things are Fury + Unarmed DMG trinket and Fury + Samurai trinket. Use samurai until max speed then just switch to the main trinket. I do have Mad science that I could use, but wanted to do it without that. FIST build kinda back?

@@CaptnBootySeekr100 only done it once for IBM, but I used Fire ant shield, fury + unarmed dmg as main trinket, fury +samurai as 2nd trinket, wizard hat, termite chest, assassin legs. For the mutations Lil fist, Chopper, Smasher, SharpShooter, Trapper Peep.R. Some can easily be changed but that was my first version of it. The builds do changed depending on boss. Fist build do rely heavily on perfect blocking tho. Fist build might be the best build as It does True DMG. until they nerf it to the ground again...

If anyone wanted to try the build, good luck trying to get Fury + unarmed DMG on one trinket. You could possibly use +Boss dmg. I don't know the +unarmed %DMG so can't tell if +Boss will be anywhere close to the DPS.

It's hard to enjoy any weapon or build in this game when every boss is given that annoying ass damage reduction and you end up chipping away slowly at them no matter what setup you go with. Makes it all feel the same.
