I think the right word is submerged not sinking. It's the sea level rises due to climate change. Some glaciers and icebergs in north/south pole are already melted causing the increase of volume of water. It is not the land which sink but the water level which rise.

I was in Loboc in 2019, and stayed in a very nice resort. I felt sad that some of this islands that are populated are are in this sinking situation. What will happen to this people, I wish the government will help them locate to a more safe land to continue their way of life. I love my own beautiful country and very proud to be a Filipino.

If you want to reach a larger audience with a vlog, you have to make sure that your videos are understood by that audience. If I would do my videos in Dutch (which is my mother-tongue) they could only be watched in The Netherlands and the northern part of Belgium. Now I have viewers from all over Europe, USA and Philippines. What I have done here is complementing this vlogger on the content and giving advice for building a larger audience. I am sure that these sinking islands are now known to the central government in Manila and I hope that they already have plans on how to help the residents and how to rehabilitate these islands. As a suggestion, it will be better to relocate all the residents on safer and higher grounds and provide them with livelihood and jobs. As for the sinking islands, the best is to reclaim them, we have thousands of tons of garbage in metro Manila alone. Why not process these garbage so that they will be less destructive to the environment and use it to rebuild and reclaim the islands, cover it with soil and plant coconut, hardwood trees or fruit bearing trees plus grasses to prevent erosion. In the near future, they could be opened again as tourist destination or commercial and environmental purposes such as fisheries, fish habitat/sanctuary or bird sanctuary for the land area.

Margie Powers,, para maunawaan mo,, hindi literally na ang island na yan ay lumulubog sa sarili nya,,,,, ang sinasabi nyo na lumulubog ay natatabunan lng ng high tide ung isla,pero kapag ka low tide naman nakikita yan,,. Ang isang factor na ito tlga dahilan kung kaya nasasabi nyong lumulubog ang isla ay nababwasan na kasi ang buhangin nito kysa sa original nito na hitsura, kasi ang mga tao sa isla jan narin kumukuha ng buhangin pampatayo ng bahay nila jan,,,kung noon

Looks like they got used to it. People in the south even built their houses in the waters not in the land. And there's 7,600+ islands but I guess you don't want to leave your property and your community.
