This song reminds me of my lil sis and I cried for her. Send it to my mother, because this song explains what my sister can't and I think it was the first time my mother truely understood her. We knew that she has borderline, but this lyrics made us really understand what's going on inside her.

True, self harm is not just cutting. While that is a common act there are much less direct and at the same time more harmful things people do. Withdrawing from people to punish yourself, stopping treatments and needed medications in hopes of causing a decline in health. Sometimes the harming is a way to vent, others use it as a punishment. Whatever the method or the reason, there is likely something inside hoping someone will take notice and throw out a lifeline. When it feels impossible to explain what is going on inside sometimes we need someone to sit and not talk, but to just be there. Thanks for reacting to this song Cab, it is a rough one for me.

Yes, you got it! A bit of compassion and understanding goes a long way. Reactions of horror, anger, a huge crack down of rules from mom and dad, all that just makes it all worse. You feel more judged and kept at a distance and not listened to, even if like the song says you don't know what's going on either. As a new fan I love your reactions and track by track interviews, your my fav CS content channel atm tbh.

Self harm with it comes to cutting ain't so much about harming yourself its about feeling something besides the hopelessness even if its pain at last its something cause when u get to that point u can feel loved anymore no matter how much u hear it your mind is a prison cell that won't let u free
