Thank you very much for your kind words Josh, I can’t make this happen without everyone’s support. I really appreciate your help, look forward to riding with you on a TDC tour soon 🙏🏼

All the best with your fundraising and your discovery tour. Awesome to see someone like yourself doing so much in the cycling community. Keep it up!

Hey, I'm a newbie cyclist and stumbled upon this channel. Tour de Cure helped fund my PhD research project last year. Great to see the cycling side of their organisation!

Thats awesome, and Im glad to see the story completed full circle. From riding, to fund raising to funding research. Good stuff

Love what this group is doing. People don't realise that cancer isn't one disease, it's a whole group of diseases and we are making huge progress in a heap of these - efforts like this get us closer to cures for every different cancer.

So true. Sometimes it feels like we’re not making much progress against cancer. But in reality we’re making lots of little steps. Groups like this help bring that change to reality.

What a wholesome group ride

They’re a great bunch. It’s cool to see the whole group riding for a common cause (and also the goal of doing a big multi day tour together). It really has a great vibe to it.

Well done Josh. It’s a very worthy cause. They are certainly a group that get immediate respect from fellow riders on the road. Your Vids are always 100% accurate and this is no different. Just keep this good stuff coming

@@joshkwan I am, My Son and i have been training hard for about a month now for the Gong ride. Its removing the fear of traffic on the roads and getting away from the Turbo that has been the challenge, but your Vids have made me realise the mental health benefits of getting out ...Cheers

Thanks for showcasing the TdC charity on your channel. Was very excited that Richard was able to get the collab together. Flour Shop is now my go to when I'm at Bobbin Head haha

Honey I'm just going for a "ride" now! 😏 Love the use of radios! Definitely makes sense in a big group. The Motorola Curve or DLR1060 radios would be great as they have amazing range for their size and weight. Alternatively a PTT app like Zello with the right Bluetooth earpiece could work in a pinch if there's good mobile reception. 2:58 it's funny how the lens distortion makes it look like he's constantly trying to steer into you.
@joshkwan3 ай бұрын
Bluetooth earpiece is not a bad idea. But probably shouldn’t be shared between people The 360 cameras certainly make some funny perspectives hahaha

I lost my dad last December after a nine month battle with cancer. Triathlon training and cycling have helped me so much throughout the grieving process. I’ve been tooing and froing as to whether to take the plunge on next years signature tour. You just gave me the green light Josh! Hope to meet Richard along the way! Are the group rides available to those signed up for next year?
@joshkwan3 ай бұрын
Jordan sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Signature Tour is a great way to remember him and raise money for a good cause, all the best with your tour. Sorry I don't know too much about the finer details about training rides, best to reach out to TDC.

Oooh that’s a good video idea. Probably not in the near future since I have a huge backlog of footage. I can suggest watching my recent video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3i2iY13opiBldUsi=s6nwZRAwgOZwW3kR If you have any specific questions, always happy to answer them on Instagram.

Nice work gents Enjoying the new camera angles Is all this from the x4 or are you still using the ace pro?
@joshkwan3 ай бұрын
It’s cool to see different perspectives other cameras can offer. Adds a bit more flavour to the videos. In this particular video it was filmed entirely with the X4
