I’m so surprised he got a refund. My husband has over paid, rather over garnished many a times and they just say ‘oh well we’ll just note it for future reference’

child support should only be applied to a father who refuses to be in his kids life. if that father is willing and and happy to see his kids and be there for him then the mother and father can come to a civil agreement. its as easy as "hey can you send me such and such amount a month for the kids?" its that simple. very few men outright refuse to be in theri childs lives after divorce. in fact most fathers pay child support AND STILL give their kids money or send the ex wife money for the children on top of that. honestly the parent who is in the better financial situation should have the kids. full stop. but instead they give kids to a parent who can't afford to take care of them and then tell the other parent to give up their money so they can afford the kids. just give the children to the parent who can afford the children. point blank period.

Child support is making me pay 6 years of college and have put me in jail over it and they tell me it’s all legal. I have paid 18,000 $ more so far then I should have. Still got 10,000 to go from New Hampshire
