I had a hand in helping with that laugh. He wanted it to be subdued, almost a whisper... but I pointed out that the laugh in the original wasn't an out loud one, the black background indicated it was done within Chrysalis' psyche. She just laughed like she did because that's how she laughs. But you can definitely tell that if it were a King instead of a Queen, that laugh would definitely be more bellow-y and sinister, louder because of it. And that's what ended up in the final product.

While a wedding is about a union between two people, the ceremony centers around the bride, so different aspects of what the groom does and how the ceremony plays out is going to be different than if it were the bride. A lot of things visually is centered around the bride and made to show the beauty...all in all when you go to a wedding, the groom's part is a little drawn back as it's a brides main time to shine. This is not saying the groom isn't important, it's just culturally and to paint a picture, the groom is going to show different parts of a wedding that the bride doesn't see

I'm surprised, since most Cold Versions of songs are... Eh to say put it lightly. But... KUDOS to the one singing for Bolero, he sounds similar to Cadance but distinct. And the lyrical changes actually work as well or better. I did like the changes so that the real Bolero was emphasizing that this was a day for him and Glitter. Also, that background noise of Dusk freaking out was really funny.

I'm not going to lie, Philsterman, I think this is among my favorites of your work. Slightly changing a few lines here and there and changing the gender completely changes the meaning of the whole song. I'm very impressed. I personally would like to hear how your version of the song would sound without the lines near the end, but perhaps that's just me. I just think that moment of nothing but music heightens the suspense and makes your singing portions more powerful.
