same bro, the only thing that kills my vibe with dayz tarkov is the gun play. once you play tarkov, every other game feels bad/off on the gunplay

​@@Dipsh1t tarkov gunplay is one of the worst rn. It used to be my favorite but the recoil changes made it horrendous. They were supposed to fight mag dumping but they are not realistic at all. Sniping in dayz is top tier, it has a better system for bullet trajectory. Also the fact that you are not in a ready stance all the time like in tarkov adds depth to the gunplay. It's more on the realistic side but staying arcadey enough in my opinion to still be fun.

@@PiLoDrW yeah this wipe I played just until flee, I agree. I still have the nice times in my head when lighthouse released, in that time I had by far the most fun since I started. The last 2 wipes were meh, streets is cool and all but it was unplayable early wipe and that killed it for me. Hoping for the best tho A big part why I love the Tarkov gun play so much are the animations, the lack on an hud that you have to guess your ammo count or look in the mag. I love how the guns sound and feel. I agree with the ready stance and I really wish they’ll change it. Have a great day bro

@@PiLoDrWsp tarkov fixes all those issues. Sp tarkov would be an amazing single player or coop open world game if it was possible. Right now the modders are working on custom maps. I’m sure one day when bsg abandons eft because they will they are that type of developer there will be custom cracked servers that would be the best game ever

The server is super cool, I’ve been playing it for a while and I’m glad seeing it get its recognition it deserves! Just a heads up tip, their servers are at max pop 24/7, my best advice is find out the server restart schedule and everytime it restarts start clicking to join! Trust me it what’s me and my buddies did

Reinstalled DayZ for this, immediately got disappointed that it's a US server so my ping was 200 😢 if they opened a EU server it would be sick, most of Aftermath playerbase would switch immediately

Man, if they cleaned up the sounds, made the gun shots more like DayZ and made this console...they couldn't keep the game in stock man! This looks sick. And us on console are ungodly depraved for GOOD shooting/survival games sooo badly.

the que on this server right now it 50 plus after a restart and you WILL NOT get back in before the next restart. yesterday waited 7 hours to get in just to be sent back to main menu 3 times cause the server restarts. they have 3 servers rn all full but you would think with this many prio queue people paying 25.99$ a month they could make a second deerisle server?

i think the usual tactic is to leave at least 1 person back far enough to see if anyone approaches area 42 from the bridge and rest stick together or close enough to respond. But its also dayz you should be expecting more then 2 people at all times or get farther away before healing or reloading. Most of the player base sucks at solo verse group play so you tend to get large groups of crap people who can just overwhelm and keep you pinned while others rush you. ya got dayzed lol. Love and hate it as a solo especially if i try for servers like that that are fun or more interesting.
