This DBZ Game is dead. Or at least thats what it looks like when you look at the player numbers for Dragonball: The Breakers! Seeing as im still a fan of the game I decided to jump into the game and see what if their latest update with adding the ginyu force as a raider really worked?

Not sure if you figured this out, but you actually get benefits if members of the Ginyu Force survive. Guldo searches the map for players and gives Ginyu and HP increase Recoome joins in every melee attack and gives Ginyu an attack buff Jeice and Burter join in Super attacks and give Ginyu a speed buff And Ginyu gets a free melee block for every member that is alive for a total of three free blocks

Ah man playing as survivor sucks, you get the worst teammates ever when you play as survivor. Then when you finally play raider, you get destroyed by a premade. Personally as a Raider I never really lost unless it was by a mistake I made.

Honestly the game is pretty healthy, Doto only goes by Steam numbers. Both PS5/PS4/Xbox the que times are 1min or less, max 2min. The game is still alive that's why they updated it, they did a campaign of how many games the community could play for rewards and we far surpassed that in Season 2.

In effect, wait times for Raider became hours long even if you selected the "Flex" option, because there were hardly enough people selecting the Survivor role to fill a lobby.

You think dying and coming back as someone else is busted, but do keep in mind *_all_* of the Ginyu force are much more fragile than other raiders, _including_ Ginyu. The Ginyu force is *basically* a Boss Rush. _-Really awkward if your team turns out to be useless I imagine though--_ (^ ^;)ゞ

Not to mention, every one of them you fail to kill makes the later ones nastier. Guldo survives? He hunts the map autonomously for Survivors, pings them, and Time Freezes them briefly. Recoome survives? He jumps in on the Raider's melee attacks to add extra damage with his meaty ginger ass. Jeice & Burter Survive? They add Crusher Volcano and Blue Hurricane to Ginyu's Milky Cannon attacks. They also all give a buff to Ginyu once Ginyu takes the field; Guldo gives him additional health, Recoome gives him greater damage with all attacks, and Jeice & Burter grant extra movement speed, on top of his already-fast Raider speed and Power Level Control ability's speed buff. That said, Ginyu's no slouch on his own. He has reduced health compared to other Lv4 Raiders, and no big area-denial attacks, but Body Change is an instant-kill if it lands, even on a Lv4 Survivor, Milky Cannon is a strong AoE, and his basic ki blasts are shotgun-like sprays that are VERY hard to dodge completely. He can use Power Level Control to increase his speed and Damage, and his Strong Jersey skill is essentially a copy of Recoome Kick, he has Break Strike like Jeice & Burter to repel attackers and a Scouter (although he loses the Scouter if he Body Changes).

Here in Breakers, he doesn't have the chance to do that, and once he's performed the Body Change his original body and Scouter are locked up in the Survivor's Transphere, so he can't just pull it off the Survivor's face.

I think the Ginyu Force are underrated as a Raider because they are amusing, and tough and force the Survivors to constantly adapt as they fight them. Also if you're a Xenoverse 2 fan spending time as a member of the Ginyu Force is some great memories. But let's be real Breakers needs to just release Android 21 if they want to boost morale.

Abilities aren't difficult to get... they're "luck-based." Which those with horrible odds will NEVER get the abilities they want. And thankfully, they're starting to do banners that increase those odds (like the newest one, where if you do a 10-summon, you're GUARANTEED a Skill you don't already have). You just gotta' ignore the other banners and save up all of your Zeni for these banners. On my end, I get all the "OP" Skills on my first summons (Instant Transmission, Barrier, Sprint, etc). But I don't run meta, so the OP Skills mean little to me. I'm more for the odd Skills.

Honestly the game is pretty fun once you get the hang of it and its refreshing cuz it's "different." Ppl just shit on it cuz it's not the millionth fighting game of Dragon Ball releases. Glad they are bringing back Tenkaichi though since in all honesty Xenoverse is scuffed as hell, only enjoy FighterZ lately in terms of DB fighting games.

idea for a Janemba raid. The raid would be themed around the demons/devils. The map would have 2 stages, one before janemba corruption and then one after. There would be 3 small "soul collection stations" around the map, with 1 large "soul cleansing machine" in the north. Stage 1: Would be (spike the devilman) in which the raider would go around killing survivors and npcs for energy like normal. Once (spike the devilman) reaches max energy, (Dabura) will appear, killing him. Stage 2: The raider, now (Dabura) would no longer gain energy through killing players and npcs, instead have the objective of destroying the 3 "soul collection station". Once all 3 are destroyed the raider, (Dabura) would be retired for the match. As a cutscene plays showing a meltdown at the "soul cleansing machine" for all players and the corruption of the orge kid turning him into (Fat Janemba). Skills: Same health pool as second form cell. Stone spit move, in which he spit 3 projectiles out in a burst, stunning the survivors for 8 seconds. Flame breath sweep move for short/mid range. A normal burst move for defense. Ki sense. Map changes: crystal beans will appear all over the map. If the super-time machine is present, a large crystal bean will incase it, preventing it from being worked on by survivors or passively gaining progress. This crystal can be broken by survivors for half the time it would take to charge the super-time machine. Stage 3: The raider, now (Fat Janemba) would start at the north, the "soul cleansing machine". (Fat Janemba) would slowly gain energy, and after 5 minutes would transform in (super Janemba). The raider can shorten this time by executing survivors or npc. 30 seconds per survivor and 10 for npc. Unlike other raiders (Fat Janemba) execution can not eliminate players. Skills: (Fat Janemba) would be immune to all damage but still takes fair knockback for flurry melee attacks and slight slowing for large ki blast/wave attacks. The raider would be unable to fly and be pretty slow when walking, but would have great jump distance and a roll attack for movement. A teleporting punch move for short/mid range and a rapid fire cannon move from its belly holes for long/mid. Ki sense. 4 stage: The raider now (Super Janemba) can once again fly. Have perfect cell levels of health. And once again be able to eliminate survivors. Skills: (Super Janemba) would be able to teleport long distances sometimes like using the survivors grappling hook, 2 times in a row. Flying sword slashes for his standard ki blast. His ultimate for fighterz, "needle light shower". Some portal strikes. A powerful upward sword slash for an ultimate.

If you are playing by yourself you never know what kinda lobby you will get and yes it can be stressful if you are playing against good raiders (only saying this bc I’m a survivor main and barely play raider unless it’s to complete daily and weekly challenges) but I enjoy it.

They did such a horrible job advertising this game. They advertised it mostly to DBZ/S Fighting Genre fans who were OBVIOUSLY going to hate it. Honestly, if they just focused advertising this to the general Dragon Ball fandom and Asymmetrical gamers: They would've hit the jackpot. Not too late for them to start doing so... but it just feels like Bandai Namco aren't giving the Breakers team the budget/segment to do a proper advertisement.

But I will say this... I think if the game's actually in a bad spot, an easy answer would be Goku Black/Zamasu Raider. -1st Stage: Zamasu -2nd Stage: Goku Black -3rd Stage: Super Saiyan Rose -4th Stage: Fused Zamasu To make him unique, they could give him a Revive mechanic at the Fused Stage turning him into Grotesque Zamasu

@@Shadowzero347 You gotta' wait for Black/Zamasu, though. It seems they're going in order of DB Sagas. The first three Raiders were put in by default: Cell, Frieza, Buu. But after that, they're going in order of Sagas. Vegeta was for the Saiyan Saga. Ginyu Force was fro the Namek Saga. Android Saga is next, then Buu Saga. Who knows what they'll do after that. Super Sagas? OG Dragon Ball? Z Movies? Super Movies? GT? Or a mix?

While I'm aware I'm in the minority, I actually like playing this game It has problems? A lot Is balanced? Ehhh... The RNG on the banners is horrible? Yes But I still have hopes for this game. Of course, make it cheaper/F2P and adding Crossplay would be really nice

I like it too but for some reason it’s become truly unplayable for me on PlayStation. I can’t play a single match or do the story mode because I can’t load into a match. I can connect with others but I’m stuck at now loading before it gets to the screen with all the players. It’s sad because it worked just fine during the test servers and before season 3.
