If it was only ebarbs being viable, it wouldn't be a problem. That's not the situation. They are at the end of the day a card that shows up with twice the frequency of any other troop and is seen in decent numbers in just about every archetype that isn't xbow. Either way, the ebarbs need a nerf though that doesn't address the larger issue either.

In my opinion, E Barbs were good before the April balance changes because the only buff they got was only +0.1 sec hit speed which is not significant enough to take them from one of the worst cards in the game to one of the best. Overall, I think that insignificant buffs and nerfs can make cards have a much bigger presence in the meta

In my opinion, the elite barbarians should have a rework: they don't have much better protection than normal barbs, so what about they have the same health, BUT do about 65% more damage, question mark? Also, what is the intro music called?

The problem with EBs is that they’re so low risk/high reward. Almost every counter requires you to play multiple cards, and almost all of them are weak to even the cheapest spells. Smarmy is one of the very few positive trades you can make and it’s weak to every spell in the game for a negative elixir trade. When you have to dedicate multiple cards to counter one lone card that’s when I feel the meta is broken.

I disagree bc eb is 6 elixir, making it more expensive than potentially 2 troops worth half that, I feel like it’s easy to counter in that respect. They are strong tho but that’s not an issue for me

Hey Ash! Not sure I could have played better than you, but for that Skarmy, try having a defense mortar before deploying elite barbs or sending ice golem in front of elite barbs like samuel did. Defensive mortar could save you from skele loons with musketeer backup

I’d like to see a small buff to elite barbarians, something similar to what the knight got. I don’t know if it should be hp, dmg, or maybe even move speed? I like them in the meta, but I don’t like how your decks almost need elite barbarians or Valkyrie. In many ways, it turns the game into 7-card decks.

Just like miner being in every deck, everyone labeled it op and it got a nerf. If one card can be put into every single mega deck, it’s op and needs some sort of nerf. Even a small % nerf on damage alone would be helpful. They may be 6 elixir, but how much is required to defend it?

I like every once in a while a really bad card suddenly becoming really good in the meta. However, I really don’t think I would enjoy an ebarb meta for 3 months. I could do 11/2-2 months, but for 3 months would be really pushing it for me ngl. They don’t have to do a big emergency nerf, but I would enjoy an attack speed nerf or a damage nerf.

I'd be okay with this if people didn't set up defensive x-bows while rocketing/fire balling my tower all game. The changes simply make it a little easier to pressure a defensive x-bow setup. It was way too easy to simply defend and spell cycle as a win condition before.
