Feels like this deck is 'solved' except for the one tech slot occupied here by MMM. I guess otherwise it can be Red Guardian, Gladiator or Nocturne. I was running Nocturne for a long time and am running with MMM- just seems to be relevant for so many cards and matchups right now

Is it really that surprising that a deck that was strong a week ago, and hasn’t received any changes in a long time, is still strong now? xD SS will probably stay strong next week, next month, or who knows how long, unless it gets nerfed… And it might only get better if it gets some strong 3-Energy drops that fit into it xD

Which ever card gives you the most joy. A lot of cards become meta or are meta. It’s collection dependent. What do you enjoy playing the most or are you meta based player that only wants to get the broken cards?

@@SonOfSassy I feel like when the new caches come out I already have the two older cards and only need the new one. I'm free to play and casually play a little each day. I just wish I could use my few keys or very limited tokens to stay as current with the meta as possible. Wish I could use the keys to just pick the card I want and skip the others, I don't need the variants of the others.

Let me tell you my surfer story, because I’ve been a bit tilted on ladder this week so go back to basics a simple decent deck I enjoy. Arishem opponent. Cassandra Nova on 3 opponent snaps, no problem he has an answer, Abs Man other lane with prio for two big cards. I have his Shang Chi from Copycat so I’m sure I’m fine. Opponent Nico copy on 4, MY copycat Shang chis my Cassandra Nova, and then has the second copy cat for my abs man… got my Copycat from Daily Bugle when I had 6 cards in hand. This is my luck in this game! 😂

@@paulshawn3345 [This ended up getting a little long lol] Wong works but just know its easily countered by Cosmo, Rogue, Enchantress, and Red Guardian (or taken advantage by their Super Skrull). Odin works but that does mean you're playing an early Surfer so remember to play him early. I had a big flip Surfer deck where I would play ideally Hope Summers on 3 otherwise Magik for the turn 7. Then on turn 4 play Wong on Hope. Turn 5 (with 6 energy) you play a 3 cost (can be Surfer on Wong/Hope) and Wave on Hope (if you didn't play Surfer on Hope already) on turn 5, then on turn 6 you should have 7 energy with Odin at 4 allowing you to Surfer + Odin on Wong or a 3 cost plus Odin on Surfer if you already played Surfer. If you have Magik you just play Wave on turn 6. Essentially you're always wanting to play Wave before Odins turn so that Odin is always a 4 cost. Alternatively with Magik out but you don't have Wave make sure to keep Hopes lane a single card lane and drop 2 cards on her on turn 6 so that you have 9 energy on turn 7 for Odin and a 3 drop. Then the rest just fill it with any good 3 cost cards like Gladiator or Shaw and maybe throw a Nova + Killmonger package. You can run Brood especially if you're also running Absorbing Man but especially now when board space is easy to get filled up (by location effects or junk decks) I often run things like Sage, Cassandra Nova, or really any good Onreveal 3 cost that can pair with Wong and Odin well.

I don’t use Killmonger or nova in my surfer deck. Ravonna, Forge, Iron Heart, Brood, Magik, Surfer, Shaw,Mystique, Wong, absorbing man, Sera, Odin. No other surfer deck reaches power like a turn 7 wombo combo. Retreat if you don’t get your combos
