At 17:43 you can see Archmage attack DH before the latter is staffed, the projectile is redirected towards the base. The DH then uses staff of tele before being hit by the projectile, you can see the projectile hit him from the north several seconds later at 17:58

28:10 2nd game was the sht, man. The heavy transition to raiders to wyvern to tauren walkers was chef kiss. I realize small mistakes lead to a bigger tear in future fight . Also you need to adapt whatever throws by the enemy. Whenever you're excellent at micro, timing or hell, grubby himself, you can't beat paper, rock, scissor game. You just need change the angle faster than you can imagine. 58:40 was satisfying. I call that pheasant barbecue

The second dude have changed his army units tactics three times during one match. From raiders he switched to wind riders, and then switched to taurens and walkers. That's interesting. I guess some dryads/chymeras would be nice here to dispell illusions and slow down taurens. Good game

In the 2nd game, is there any thought into giving the Alche the AS items and levelling Chem rage, or is the value of poison bomb and urine too strong with the huntress playing into the raiders?

It obviously wasn't the case but I'd like to think you lost the second game because you left the Tome of Intelligence +2 and the Blade took it. Now that I'm in the future and I know you got to n° 1 (congrats!!) I'm still amazed that all your losses were to Orc while against Undead you always had the advantage. Talk about flipping matchups on their heads!

Would be worth learning that Orc players' build from the middle game to use as Orc against Night Elf in the future. Then see if other Night Elf players come up with something to beat it.

I think but I'm a bronzer, First get panda, go hippo rider into chimaera late and talons. Mass hunt was inappropriate as soon as he showed up with wyverns and archers are garbage vs blade. But if he gets raider and go for a ground army then you could counter with hunts/bear, but anyway I really think he needed to tech up. He could have converted all the archers into hippo riders.

Peak wc3 pathing and unit selection difficulties with that train of archers running in circles to go after the wyverns. I wish reforge had tried higher unit selection caps would make archers much better. I do wish for better pathing too, but not at the expense of the surround system.

In the game against ScherWadka, can someone explain me why didn't Grubby go any tier 2 or tier 3 units? Talons, faeries, Hippoes, Chims, Giants, etc. I don't get it, it looked weird. Thanks in advance!

When a wisp builds an ancient building, the wisp "dies," thus taking his population at that moment from 20/20 to 19/20. He then starts building another wisp from his Tree, and then cancels the ancient he started to build, bringing that wisp back to life so it can harvest more wood, and bringing his pop count to 21/20, giving you one wisp in production while at the same time being overpopulation.

In the loss NE vs Orc the Huntress Strat seemed really underwhelming as you did not get that overwhelming money boost as you instantly harrassed him over creeping your natural + expanding first. So the huntress count stayed too low to be a problem imho and afterwards you lost momentum.

Troll Batriders (Unstable Concotion) can ruin your day. You can try to mitigate this by spreading out your Hippogryphs, but the problem is that since they are melee air-to-air, they clump when attacking, so you have to be on a hair trigger alert, and if you mess up once, you can lose them all to a couple of Batrider explosions. For Undead, same problem for using Gargoyles. For Human, at least all air attacks at decent range, so they don't clump so much. I'm wondering if Druids of the Talon in Storm Crow form would be better -- at least as long as they stay over passable ground, you can land them when you see the Batriders coming. But Batriders' air-to-ground attack is pretty good against them (as is Windriders if you didn't kill them all first), so you also need ground-based anti-air, which means you can't phase out Archers. For Undead, Tier 3 unlocks Stone Form, so that Gargoyles can land as well (but Stone Form has a long cooldown, so you can't do it all the time -- at least for Night Elf, Druids of the Talon can land any time as long as they have Mana for the transition).

When you build certain buildings as night elf the wisp essentially die; as you lose it when the building is done. So when you start building the wisp is counted as dead and u regain the food u used for it, then you start producing a new wisp and stop the production of the building to get the dead wisp back, bringing your population to 21/ 20

Not grubby, but the wisp ceases to exist while it’s building an ancient, so it doesn’t add to your food count. You build a unit to max your food count while it’s building and then you cancel the building giving you back the wisp, adding onto your food count but over your cap

when you are 20/20 food you start making a shop, now you are 19/20 you start making a new wisp, now you are 20/20 again, you cancel the shop that that you are building, now you are 21/20 food

If you then cancel the building, you get the wisp back but the queued wisp is still produced. That allows you to keep wisp production going until the second moonwell finishes, because otherwise you would get supply locked with the build that Grubby uses.

if you build a building with a wisp that is an ancient it kills the wisp technically so he builds units during that too replace its population and cancels too get the wisp back too work or if your talking the scout wisps when he builds and cancels its usually too just dodge the Mountain king spell thunderbolt which will 1 shot the wisp and give exp so hes trying too deny the EXP and build more harvesters faster
