For those who experiencing this "Failed Detection" restart your laptop/pc to patch the adb drivers. For later version of MIUI 11 or Higher need to go to mi assistant in recovery mode to make it work. Have a Great Day!

Mi account unlock only works up to earlier versions of miui 11, does not work on later miui 11 and miui 12 ive tested my mi10t on miui 11 it doesnt work, updated my phone to miui 12 via recovery to try again and still a no go 😔 i hope they release a new version of this tool that works on later devices and latest miui versions

@@emmanuelcadilojr.3225 yes.. i fixed it by myself. But thats a risk way to do. Wrong step and you might kill the device permanently. Its call EDL mode.. for that you have to open the back panel of your device, there two points is given which you have to short circuit it (unplugging the battery) and connect the usb to the pc.. that's it now you can unlock mi account or reinstall the software.
