Having a hysterectomy was the best thing to happen to me outside of giving my life to Christ. I had tons of fibroid tumors and very heavy bleeding with clots and it ended that day. Hallelujah!!!!!

God sent me to your channel. I am 75 years old. Like you I suffered and bled for years. My gyn told me to hang on until menopause. I suffered through and did this. Now it’s 25 years after menopause and I have started to bleed again. Had to visit the emergency room this weekend. They have returned. At 75 bleeding….No. Friday I have an appointment with my doctor. Whatever has to be done to end this for a person my age is fine with me. God is so on time. Pray for me. I am praying for you.

Been there...at 48 I had such heavy menstruals I had to stop working. My iron was too low to even donate blood. After tests showed I had extensive fibroids, I had a complete hysterectomy. My doctor said my uterus was like a sponge. Best thing I ever did. My iron levels came back up and I sure don't miss those debilitating periods. I'm now 71...never felt better!

I had fibroids all my life.I left them alone because they were small.As my doctor told me,they will disappear once you go into menpause.She also told me that the only time she would remove them,is when they are the size of golf balls.I left them alone. Everyone has different circumstances..so the decision to do surgery may be the only option. Prayers and blessings to you and your family.❤

That part. I have to believe that the Most High God, in his infinite wisdom, connects stuff together that we don't understand. Take into consideration that most doctors (medical insurance companies) take a particular path as an industry. Their opinions don't vary much. Some women have been able to overcome fibroids through tinctures, or diet and/or exercise, which is how I would approach the problem. before removing organs. Having body parts removed can not be the new normal.

Sister! Let me tell you, I had a biopsy and it hurt when the took two clips off my tissue from my left lower lobe of my lung. I started bleeding 🩸 a massive amount of blood through my mouth and nose! Blood clots were coming out which caused them to suction me out more than several times then they put oxygen on me! I started praying!🙏🏾 they claim it doesn’t usually happen and is rare if it does happen! Of course it would happen with me! No Cancer! 🙌🏾 7 years ago I had cancer, I’m in remission! They thought it was coming back,but GOD!!👏🏾🙌🏾🔥

I was diagnosed with fibroids in my late forties. I was offered to have a procedure to shrink them , or because I was approaching menopause I could wait it out, because the fibroids usually shrink with menopause. I waited for menopause ( less than 6 months) periods dwindled away fibroids shrank away. I feel good.

That's great news. I am glad you started with the lowest common denominator FIRST because removing body parts is no joke. I would have episodes where fibroids would shrink right before I was scheduled for surgery. Later on, I had a total hysterectomy and healed perfectly, however, I would later discover that our uterus produces the agents that keeps our bones and spaces between our bones in good working order. My doctors did not suggest hormone therapy and I believe you have to approach this treatment within a certain amount of years to be effective. Hence, the problem I now have is joint pain. Women considering the hysterectomy should consider hormone therapy (my opinion) because estrogen plays an important role in maintaining bone structure. Low estrogen leads to weakened bones and osteoporosis.

@@mflournoy2971 Yes, I was fortunate to have a doctor who provided information about different ways to treat the fibroids. Because of my age and me showing signs of menopause, I opted to wait it out. My painful very heavy cycles became irregular ( late and eventually nonexistent). So women frown upon menopause for whatever reason. Not me I couldn’t wait, I had enough from Mother Nature. Praise God for that blessing. I had fibroids and I they found cancer but Thank God they were all benign. I did have a hysterectomy with the da Vinci machine I was one of the first at that hospital. This is kind of graphic, but when I received the hysterectomy, they made five incisions and everything was pulled out through my vagina. That really freaked me out when I heard that’s how the hysterectomy was going to be performed. so if you receive your hysterectomy by the machine you will not receive a bikini cut. The downtime is very short because you were not cut on. I think I was down for a couple of weeks after that I was fine so don’t be afraid or freaked out. if you have that type of procedure it’s quick and easy. God bless and take care.

Gina, I went thru the same thing at 49 years old. They found 3 fibroids, 1 the size of a grapefruit, one the side of a small apple and the other the size of a small soccer ball. I had the heavy, heavy painful menstrual cycles. I got cramps the week before, during and 1 week after my period. When I got my complete hysterectemy, it was the best decision I ever made in my life. Hey Gina. I had fibroids about 14 years ago. I had a procedure done called a UAE= Uterine Artery Embolization. Within a year, my menstrual completely stopped. Those fibroids caused me a great deal of mess! I had also to get a biopsy in the cervix. My ob gyn numb me then did the procedure. I didn't feel nothing. But I had to get tested for 1 year every 3 months because my cell results were coming in abnormal. They thought it was HPV but by the glory of God, I am healed. I go every year for every thing. I had the same problem with low iron. Heavy periods. I didn’t know what was wrong. Finally found the right doctor. found out I had a tumor the size of a grapefruit. Had the surgery, a total hysterectomy, and been good ever since. The tumor was noncancerous. This was years ago. To God be the Glory.

I also had tumors but no insurance, got married a few years later and had a total hysterectomy,I tell you I got my life back because that heavy bleeding had my life on the whole, that tumor was the size of a grape fruit. Had it done with the robot 4 lil holes and they are gone now, down time for me was 8 weeks because the tumor was larger and put stress on my body having it done with the robot. I had a total hysterectomy and i'm so happy no more periods but he took my overs and nothing was wrong with them at all and now i regret that part. it pushed me into early menopause i'm 46 going on 47 in March and now i have no energy.

Gina, I'm so happy for you and thanking Him. I continue to stress to all women to keep up with your annual GYN visits. Back in the day, there weren't all of these "specialists". A family doctor would just about do it all from pap smears, breast exams and treat you fold a cold, strep throat etc. Today, Thank God for specialists. Medicine has come such a long way, there is just no way a general practitioner could possibly keep up with everything.

I had a biopsy about 2014 because I was ppst menopausal. I was bleeding and I went to my obgyn doctor. She did the biopsy and it did HURT! Fibroids run in my family. When I started showing symptoms in my early 30s, I made an appointment & told them to test me for Fibroids & Endometriosis. They tried to talk me out of it-but I fought for myself for the tests to be ran. Ultrasound showed I had 2 fibroids.

I had the very same issue . Low red blood count, low iron, pouty tummy. Fibroids are very common in ppl of color. I was aware of the presents of the fibroids. I had hysterectomy and I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner. Your life will change for the better.

Gina I went thru the EXACT same thing. Heavy bleeding and severe pain. Test after test to figure out why I was so Anemic. Finally my Primary sent me to the OB/GYN. It turned out I had multiple Fibroids. They were literally feeding off my blood, killing me to keep them alive!At the time I was only 39. I ended up having to have a Complete Hysterectomy. But I Loved being PAIN FREE and NOT Bleeding to Death every month.

I had it done and yes it hurts I cried, I told my doctor if you didn't get what you need oh well cause I will never get that procedure done again again those fools had a nerve to call me 2 weeks later and said they didn't get an accurate reading and he wanted me to come in and get it done again I hung up on them this was in 2011 whatever they were looking for by the grace of God grace of God I'm still here

All Praises to God Almighty for a blessed report no cancer. Thank you for sharing your testimony. I know it will reach thousands upon thousands. I’m a little bit older “67” I’ll be 68 this year. I suffered with fibroids in my early 30. Started having blood clots doing my mistral cycle a lot of heavy cramping which they gave me pain medicine for cramps. My OB/GYN doctor told me I had them and they were the size of a peanut so for several years I just dealt with it when I would come on my cycle, it was like someone turning on the water fountain full force, but I continue to deal with it. They kept watching it then towards my middle 30 they told me it was the size of a grapefruit and I needed to have removed. Of course they went in at the lower part of my stomach and removed my uterus. I still have my ovaries and I still get checked every year for my ovaries. Thank God the fiber tumors were not . cancer. continued blessings to you as you going through this season dealing with your health

I had very heavy periods and I passed first sized clots the first three days of my cycle, could not work nor do stressful things. I had a hysterectomy in 1999. That was the best decision for me.

Like you, I had very heavy bleeding with clots. The happened AFTER I had gone through "the change". In my regular years, I was very regular, but when this happened, the bleeding would come at odd times during he month. After seeing an OBGYN I had to have a sonogram every so many months, so they could see how and where the fibroids were growing. They then did a complete hysterectomy. I was 62 at the time. I wish I had done it 10 years earlier, but I was scared. (I am 82 now and all is well.) God will see you through, as He always does. (No cancer)

Thank God they did not find cancer. I had a procedure last summer. It was called Uterine fibroid embolization. So, no cutting at all. As for going to the gynecologist annually, I thought everyone did. I did not realize that people did not know they are supposed to get an exam annually. Thank you for sharing...

I'm so Happy your cancer free i had to do it as well and it do hurt and i praised god but i still had to do a total hysterectomy and now i regret it because my ovaries was fine but my dr took them because he said what if over the years i get ovarian cancer but i believe he did it for the money. I don't miss the heavy periods but these hot flashes ain't no joke
