Similar thing with Warlock. If you don't remove armour him you can't crit with specials, W defender

reinforce passive: incoming attacks cannot be critical hits

@@cartmanbrah3292 you don't remove it, it goes away when the phys resist passive goes away. Either have to wait it out after he specials, or not let him throw a special.
